1 out of 5 eggshorrible quality

Pros: cheap

Cons: after 2 months of regular use it shorted out.

Other Thoughts: i will never make this mistake again. when i comes to power supply, invest in purchasing a quality $100-200 range psu.

Manufacturer Response:

You can do an RMA through us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't Expect A Rebate

Pros: So far a reliable power supply, but would have used the money on a different model and brand if I had known then that the rebate was a dud.

Cons: Don't expect a rebate. Purchased in May, now end of August. Haven't heard a thing after mailing everything in back in May.

Other Thoughts: Good power supply, extremely dishonest manufacturer.

Manufacturer Response:

Due to the high volume of rebates we receive each month, we cannot contact every end-user. To check the status of your Mail-in Rebate Submission please contact our Rebate Department at rebate@apevia.com. Please include the following information: 1) your full name, 2) your mailing address, 3) what you purchased, 4) where you purchased the item, 5) the rebate amount, and 6) the rebate period. 5 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: Great so far. Lots of power, cords are long but not to long for my mid atx tower, and blue led's are bright but not overpowering. The fan is also nearly silent especially compared to my old power supply which my friends thought was the bathroom fan going all the time. Hopefully will last many years to come.

Cons: Since my tower doesn't have a hole in the top for a fan I had to install it upside down so that it blows warm air into my case but I knew this before I bought it. Plus it doesn't get realy hot, so it doesn't realy matter anyway.

Other Thoughts: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU for the money

Pros: Runs very quiet. My last psu was pretty loud compared to this one. Main fan is an acrylic/plastic material that doesn't vibrate or rattle at all. Very, very blue LED. 4-pin connectors have a nice "locking" type feature on them and provide really solid connection.

Cons: Shipping seemed to take a long time. Ordered it on a Saturday, didn't get it until Friday afternoon w/ standard shipping. But that's more of an inconvenience than anything. I still love Newegg!!

Other Thoughts: I wish it had an on-board fan control, so it wouldn't have to run at full speed all the time, but its so quiet all I hear is my video card fans anyway; and honestly I'm more concerned about noise than I am about "total performance". 650W is perfect for my application and for the price I paid, there isn't another PSU (that I found) that was any better or that had better reviews. Can't wait to get my SLi rolling on this thing!

Haven't tried the mail-in rebate yet...I hope that all goes well.

4 out of 5 eggsGood power but HUGE cords

Pros: Stable, good solid power supply. The fan helps a bit to keep my processor and motherboard cool by actively pulling heat out of the case and getting rid of it. 650 Watts for very very cheap.

Cons: Huge long cords. To fix this, I bundled all the extra cords together, tied them up with zip ties, and then stuffed them into a spare compartment away from any heat producing components and air currents. If you don't do this and have an average size case, your CPU will start to over heat dramatically (15-20C).

Luckily I had a meter up that was measuring temperature so I noticed something was wrong before anything too damaging happened.

3 out of 5 eggsdecent

Pros: nothing was wrong with this psu when i got it

Cons: im running a gts250that needs 450 watts or more ,when i have the 6 pin connector connected in the card it works but if i wana restart it or after a while of the comp being on the 12v rails are not stable voltage my mother board wouldnt detect my hdd because the psu wasnt giving the dd enough voltage, soon as i un plugged my g card its fine

Other Thoughts: if this psu is has unstable rails no thanks idont want my hdd or g card or anything frying because of this cheap thing,

this is where the term( you get what you pay for)come in effect

4 out of 5 eggsWorth it (with MIR)

Pros: * Cheap high wattage PSU
* Tons of connectors but one caveat (cons)

Cons: * The connectors are "nested"; they have 3 SATA power connectors for example on one cord

Other Thoughts: If you have MIR ($30) it's worth the price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Very Well

Pros: Lots of Watts for decent price. Blue LED light looks good, lots of connectors

Cons: The cables are sortof daisy-chained together so its near impossible to keep everything well organized inside the case

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposed to do.

Pros: -Good amount of power.
-Excellent price.
-Parts seem to be quality.
-Decent amps
-Quiet.
-Good airflow coming out the back.
-Nice, soft blue LED light, very nice if you like that sort of thing.

Cons: None that I can think of. Maybe, the fat amount of cables that can't be removed. Shove em' in an unused expansion bay or something.

Other Thoughts: It's a power supply, and its whole point is to power your computer. As long as it does that, and continues to do that, it's perfect for me.
--I was running a TB HD, 8 gigs of ram and a quad processor on an unbranded, 300W PSU. Upgraded to this so I can power a nice GPU. Might be risky using a, ahem, not so name brand PSU in SLI, but for one card, I think it's probably just the ticket.
