1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy

Pros: Form and fit was what I was looking for

Cons: Bought 2 for a video card update. 1 of the two died within 6 months. Contacted Apevia and did receive a RMA with the usual proof of purchase requirement. Received defective unit and after returned. received second defective unit. Do not buy these supplies. wish I would have believed other negative feedback.

1 out of 5 eggs2 dead on 5 from the box

Pros: Look good

Cons: Cable for cpu voltage too short and i buy 5 power and 2 die 2 minute after power up on new build, 2 different pc. Very poor quality. Nothing special in the pc, onboard video card, 1 ssd and 1 hard drive and a fx 6600 cpu

Manufacturer Response:

You can do an RMA through us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

1 out of 5 eggsDead, at 31 days

Pros: As advertised

Cons: This had been in a system which has run off and on for just over a month, but just burned out after the period during which newegg would have accepted the return. This was in a ~350W system, and should have had plenty of overhead. Even newegg was recommending a lower power supply than 500W. Dissappointed. Working with manufacturer now to replace or refund.

1 out of 5 eggsDidnt surprise me it was broke

Pros: it came on time i will give it that

Cons: if you ever watched ace ventura that scene where he just destroys that box thats what the box this power supply was delivered looked like

Other Thoughts: I wanted a replacement but somehow got a refund which is good in all honesty i would not want to get this again would rather spend a extra bit of money then get this same power supply. Hopefully others will have better luck than me when then get this power supply

1 out of 5 eggsbad power supplies

Pros: I can't really give anything positive about this

Cons: We build computers, 6 out of 10 of these power supplies were bad or ran for an hour to 1 day and died. I would not recommend these.

5 out of 5 eggsA good little power supply for the price

Pros: The right size. ATX PSU's vary in size (depth) by alot. Many are too big for this case. This PSU is at the smaller end of the scale. It fits just right in this relatively small matx mid-tower case.

Cables aren't too long or short. Not too much to hide. This could be a con if your case is really large and they need to be longer, though.

500 Watts is sufficient for this computer.

Great price.

Looks nice for a regular (not modular) PSU.

Cons: This is a con only if it matters on your PC: The 12V CPU power is done as one 8-pin plug rather than two 4-pin plugs that would plug in together on an 8-pin socket. Make sure your motherboard has an 8-pin, rather than a 4-pin socket. If you have a 4-pin socket, you would only use one of these plugs on a PSU that has two 4's. Check before you buy.
