5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Plenty of power, suitable for all but the heaviest draw systems. Modular cables are plentiful, and all are sheathed. Cables are long enough to reach all connections in my bottom-mount Antec 900. Basically inaudible, has never gotten loud. Worth the price. Powered my system without a hiccup for over a year.

Cons: First PSU I bought costing over $100, but powerful quality PSUs are at least that much these days.

Other Thoughts: Would like to have one or two half-voltage molex leads for case fans like an older Antec PSU has. Powers an Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe w/ an X2 5600+, 2 GB RAM, 1 ODD, 2 SATA RAID HDDs, sound card, 5 USB devices, ATI 3850. RMA'd an older Seasonic PSU a while back, they bent over backwards to make me happy. Will take a lot for me to switch brands in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PSU

Pros: Solid construction, 80 plus certified so its more efficient, modular cabling, 6 pin for your PCI-E video card, tons of standard 4 pin power connectors, power connectors for sata devices, two fans for cooling, what more could you ask for?

Cons: This unit is heavy! But this is more of a pro than a con as it relates to the quality construction. Just remember to bend your knees when trying to pick up your PC with this PSU in it!

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P MB, Intel E8400 CPU, EVGA 8800GTS Video Card, Zerotherm BTF92 Heatsink/Fan, Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD, Samsung DVD burner.

Pros: Modular, lots of different cables to hook up anything

Cons: DOA, might have blown a mobo

Other Thoughts: Got it for a new build, hooked it up, mobo trys to boot, died, I RMAed it. Second mobo, same thing. I swap out the PS for another, works fine. Wished id tried it with the first mobo. Its being replaced now, as I like the look and modularity of it. Hopefully the next one is better. Ill repost on it if its any better. I think the PS itself was ok, as it spun up and both mobos tried to boot, but didnt, so I think because the second one was fine, something is wrong with the mobo leads, maybe a bad wire or something, as all my fans and stuff worked great with it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent power supply

Pros: Very solid power supply, the modular plugins are fantastic. This is one of the best if not the best power supply I have ever installed in a system. Superior construction and cooling, very quiet.

Cons: The price is high but you definately get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: I love the modular design and the fan is a plus.

Cons: I was hoping the fan would blow out of the top vent in my case but if I wanted to actually screw the PSU into my case (XClio Windtunnel) I had to put it blowing down. Not sure whether to blame this on the case or on the PSU but it was somewhat disappointing.

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte GA X38, Sapphire HD3850, Q6600, Corsair 1066MHz 2x2GB, 2xSeagate 7200.11 in RAID0, Seasonic 500W modular PSU, XClio Windtunnel case, Logitech G5, Zalman CNPS9700, Hanns.G 19" widescreen... first build ever and if I can do it you can do it... booted up no problems, first try

5 out of 5 eggsQuality PSU

Pros: Supplies more than enough power for my needs. 4 12V rails. Dead quiet. Modular is always nice.

Cons: I would say price but I got it on sale for a steep discount.

Other Thoughts: Receives my JustWorks(tm) stamp of approval.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: More than enough power for ANYTHING you need. Buying anything more than this is just overkill for almost any box, no matter how stacked. Nice design, modular is awesome.

Cons: Modular plugs are somewhat sticky, this is a minor complaint. A little longer than most power supplies.

Other Thoughts: This and FSP Group are the only two PSU brands I reallly trust. A bit of an ironic story: the weekend after I got this and installed it, I won a nearly identically-spec'd FSP group at a LAN party. I'm using that in my main box right now, because it matches my case better. The Seasonic went into my home server.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Installation and quietness are great. This PSU is very quite. As other have said, they only heard their CPU fan and case fans. The mod cables made working in my Thermaltake LANbox Lite for Micro ATX mobo at least tolerable. The flexibility of the cables (both physical and variety) was better than other modular cable PSUs I've worked with.

Cons: The warranty card in the box states it has a three year warranty not 5yr as Newegg and SeaSonic both state on their web sites. I emailed SeaSonic about which is correct and never received a response.

Other Thoughts: Selecting a PSU is difficult as many of the reviews give subjective opinion and little fact. Also, the quality seems to be a cr@p shoot. Since SeaSonic has been around since 1975, I felt they may be a safe bet. So far the couple of systems I have built from scratch are more finicky than the first tear PC suppliers, but it's more fun.

5 out of 5 eggsExceptional!!

Pros: Where to start? The jet black finish? The modular cables? Or the quietness of it? Very well designed, did not have any problems installing it, even though I only have a ATX mid-tower case. Popped right in. Powered up and had to double check to make sure it was working, I could not hear it at all. I hear only my hard drives and my CPU fan. All of the cables with their sleeves are a little stiff, but that is a plus, as they stay in place once they are properly positioned. If this had not been a modular power supply, I don't know what I would have done with all of the cables, as it comes with many. Overall a good buy. Well worth the money for many years to come.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsTHE Best Power Supply ever!

Pros: I've got six computers here at home and I've built many, replacing power supplies many times over. This Seasonic PS has go to be the most well thought out PS I've ever seen! It comes with a multitude of cables for nearly every situation and more! Of course, it's modular so you only use the cables you really need and there's fewer cables jammed up inside your case. Comes with both standard and SATA power cables, plus at least 1 conversion cable. VERY quiet and cool!

Cons: Absolutely NONE.
