5 out of 5 eggsEnergy Efficient - nice hp upgrade

Pros: 80% Energy Efficient
Designed same as HP OEM psu
Active PFC

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Needed to upgrade my 300W stock psu for new sapphire 4650 card. The card ran more quietly after replacing with this psu. I feel this might prove to be a reliable workhorse but only time will tell. So far I'm pleased and it was easy even for a lady to switch out. Plenty of connections, could use another sata.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Quiet and does it's job.

Cons: Only con is could have more SATA power connections. Adapters can be used, but that's more to buy.

5 out of 5 eggsThe price you pay to be Green

Pros: Lots of wires and connectors for both newer and older systems. Very energy efficent compared to the power supply it replaced. Runs a 6800gt video card with no problems. Quiet.

Cons: Cables could be a hair longer as i was just able to connect the aux power connector on my atx foxconn mobo at the very bottom of my soprano case. Any color other then gray woulda been nice.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to bring my wifes computer into the cost savings age. I kinda see the new power supplies like those little flourcent light bulbs- they cost a little more right now but will save you money everytime you use them.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect upgrade

Pros: SeaSonic is one of the best power supply manufacturers. Provides enough juice for my setup. Active PFC is always nice to have. Cable lengths are long enough for my mid-size tower. Very solid performer with no thrills.

Cons: Wish it had more than two SATA power connectors.

Other Thoughts: Currently running: ATI HD3870, AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+, 2gb DDR2, Lite-On 20x SATA DVD, 320g SATA HD, PCI modem and sound card. This PSU easily powers all my components with room to expand.
