5 out of 5 eggsDead Silent!

Pros: This thing might as well be silent. Great for HTPC application. This is a well built power supply.

Cons: None. Completely happy.

Other Thoughts: I put this in an HTPC frontend. You really can't hear it!

5 out of 5 eggsSmall put powerful

Pros: Powers a 2 hdd, 1 dvd drive average system for day to day usage. Cables are pretty long.

Cons: I don't expect to SLI two huge cards on this but thats not what I bought it for anyway.

Other Thoughts: This thing only comes with a single 4 prong connector for the CPU 12v extra line. Why it does this I have no idea but I looked around and it seems that as long as you don't over clock to 6.0 ghz its fine.

5 out of 5 eggsan easy no-brainer solution to low-wattage needs

Pros: This PSU has served admirably for the better part of a year pulling varrying weight in two different setups on opposite ends of the demand spectrum. It has performed flawlessly in both and delivered better efficiency than several other comparable 80+ bronze PSUs that I also tried out before relegating to other lower-priority builds.
It's compact, well-protected, and with a good 4-pin to 8-pin 12V CPU adapter, it can stack up well to the 430W while delivering better efficiencies on the low-end.
Loved that the floppy connections are on an included adapter and not stuck onto the end of one of the molex peripheral cables like lower-end PSUs do - makes for better cable management in that department.

Cons: None that I can think of that are important.
Would've been nice to have a native 4+4-pin EPS 12V connector, but just pay a bit more for a good adapter and you're good to go. Also would've been a bit nicer to get a design without the extra molex peripheral cable - trying to tuck two of them away in one of my builds where none were needed made things a bit cluttered.
Not that I have a huge problem with unsleeved cables, but didn't really understand the point of not finishing the sleeving on the SATA peripheral cable...

Other Thoughts: If you can pick one up on the cheap, I would highly recommend it if your intended build is right for it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've had this for exactly a month in my newly built FreeNAS box. It's Quite, functional, efficient, cables are sleeved, and the cord lengths are perfect.

Cons: None that I can find.

Other Thoughts: I've been an Antec fan for quite some time, but this SeaSonic supply was on sale and the reviews were good. I'm really happy I made the switch rather than just blindly buying what I know. This thing rocks and I would grab another SeaSonic in the future. I don't have any problems with Antec, but I got more for my money out of SeaSonic.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 4 months !!!

Pros: Lots and lots of connections. Sleaved. Fits easily into case. Quiet. Beautiful looking.

Cons: Died after only 4 months !! About a month into using it, there would be random shutdowns. Then the random shutdowns became more frequent and then it eventually died completely. So I guess the cheap ones and the $65 are really not much different.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet, solid

Pros: All as expected based on SPCR and StorageReview. Quiet, seems well-made, causes no problems. Exhaust in the 100-140W (by Kill-A-Watt) range is negligibly warmer than ambient (as measured by my cheek). My 120mm Antec 3-speed system fan is louder on its middle setting than this PSU is.

Cons: I neglected to note that my motherboard takes an EPS plug, so I wish I would've stepped up one model to get that, but it works perfectly fine without it, so no big deal. My AMD Athlon II-250 system typically doesn't even use half the power available. (These are not really cons -- there are none to speak of.)

Other Thoughts: Seems to be an excellent PSU, just as my previous Seasonic units have been.

5 out of 5 eggsA Very Quiet Power Supply with A Solid Warranty

Pros: This is a very quiet and efficient power supply with excellent cabling. I noticed a savings on my power bill.

Cons: There really are not any.

Other Thoughts: A year ago, I had a 2 year old 500W Seasonic Power supply fail. There was a diode wedged in the fan guard that broke its solder and fell out of the circuit board.

I contacted Seasonic, got a RMA, and had a brand new replacement power supply in two weeks .

Highly recommended customer service that really honors their warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsjust like the S12 II SS-330GB

Pros: I bought 5 of a similar model (S12 II SS-330GB) three years ago. Very quiet and actually noticed a savings in my power bill with the 80+ rating.

Cons: None . Really.

Other Thoughts: One recently failed and I received replacement within a week of shipping my old one. Very pleased with SeaSonics warranty department. Especially since mine failed on the last month of the warranty. Very responsive to emails and quick shipping on the replacement.
