5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet, smooth solid power, (scope tested) and modular cables with good braiding and connectors

Cons: tad longer than most

Other Thoughts: I build very quiet low power systems for daily apps. I've had Seasonic supplies that never die, even when pushed.

2 out of 5 eggs2nd one that died in a row

Pros: Smaller size sleeved wiring

Cons: First one died within a few min, was a prob to get replaced. After a fuss Newegg did, Second one lasted a month than just died.
Not even gonna bother trying to replace just garbage.

Other Thoughts: I monitor my comp power very closely and this comp never pulled over 230watts at the outlet. (running a dual core and 5770 not OCd)
I am really disappointed in how poor these new PS's seem to be.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Plenty of power for a single GPU workstation. Silent. Modular. Packaging was excellent. You get a little baggy for the modular cables.

This PSU is also highly efficient at low loads! Most of the time your computer is drawing under 100watts and this PSU excels at low load. I switched out an "old" Antec 430 watt Core2 PSU and instantly saw a 15 watt power usage drop at idle! PSU alone!

Cons: None! Don't "save" money by buying a cheaper PSU. Get this one!

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a Kill-a-watt power reader. You can easily save $20 a year and pay for one with all the power savings you find.

Most people don't need more than 500watts either as you are drawing 80 to 150 watts at the most. If you use a power reader you'll see the truth.
