Pros: I use the hybrid fan mode and it hasn't turned one once yet. It's been cool and silent so far, even under load with gaming, prime95, oc'd comp. Modular black cables are nice.

Cons: not really a con, but all the PCI-E gpu cables have double 6/8 pin connector to one cable. I would have preferred a single connector to a cable.

Pros: - Seasonic is the best
- Fired right up first try no problems
- 100% Modular (cables are flat)
- Gold ++ almost platinum read reviews this this is the best
- 7yr warrenty (hope i never have to use it)
- Cabels were long enough to fit in my antec 900 case even routing everything through the back
- option to have fan run all the time or only when needed (case fans are always louder so it doesnt matter to me)

Cons: I got it on sale total after MIR $79 from newegg!!!
if you spend $100 more that would suck but its the best you can get.

Pros: Quality. Takes a beating (loads well). Modular. Very well packaged. Oh, and quality!

Cons: I have the 750 as well, I hadn't noticed, but this 650 seems to use flat "ribbon-cable" style wiring for the modular power-harnesses. In some applications, it's probably great, in my case it was a stretch to get the ribbons for the CPU-AUX power from the bottom of the case where the PowerSupply mounts to the very top of the case where the motherboard power connector is. Still, very nice - especially for the LOW measly price that NewEgg frequently has these on sale for!

Pros: 1) - Fast, free shipping.
2) - Awesome deal on a great PSU. I purchased this model in early 2010 and that unit is performing top-notch.
3) - This second unit will be powering my Haswell PC build, of which this PSU has been certified "Haswell compatible" (C6/C7 states).
4) - "5" Eggs rating for the product and Newegg.com, "1" Egg for the shipping agent --OnTrac Shipping-- , (see Cons*).

Cons: My PSU was delivered to my my home by -- OnTrac Shipping.-- I was at home at the time of delivery, with my front door open. The shipping container with the PSU inside -- was left in my front yard--, in the "RAIN". I have a doorbell and a covered front door porch, yet the driver could neither alert me of delivery, or leave the package dry on my porch. I have never had a online purchase delivered to my home in this fashion by any other shipping agency.

Other Thoughts: I appreciate Newegg.com as a retailer. The customer service is excellent. I hope they can influence the shipping companies to treat their customers with the service that will keep them buying their purchases online.

Pros: Complete modular design.
Quiet Operation.
7 year warranty.

Cons: Connectors are short.
Wall plug wire is short.
Died after one month.

Other Thoughts: I put this in a new Corsair 650d case and the connectors barely are long enough. One of the SATA connectors is so short I can't connect it to anything at all. If you have a really huge case this may not work for you.

I ran the x650 in 'hybrid' mode and it failed after 30 days. I turned off the machine and it would not come back on. Newegg is exchanging but I don't have high hopes for the replacement since there is apparently such a high failure rate with these. I 'upgraded' to this from a Corsair VX550W, but the Corsair has never given me any trouble at all and is working right now.

The power supply should be the least of my worries. If the SeaSonic fails again, I will be looking for a different brand.

I personally liked the fancy cable holder and have found it useful for holding extra items, especially during the build, but I have had no use for the felt bag. It's almost insulting though, that they chose to put these unnecessary extras in the package while at the same time they have this reliability issue. I mean make the thing come on every time first for crying out loud!

Pros: I was weary of this power supply when I bought it as I had never heard of SeaSonic before, but for the price (it was on sale) and the fact that it was fully modular I figured I couldn't go wrong. I was amazed at how they sent it, everything screamed professional more than most companies, the power supply itself came in a pouch with a separate bag for the various wires from power supply to motherboard. I found the two options for the fan to be interesting as I had never run into a power supply with that. I chose hybrid as this will likely be running 24/7 in my bedroom so it'll be good for noise reasons. It also is 80 gold which is awesome.

tl;dr; This is an awesome power supply, modular, awesome packaging, has 2 different fan settings, and 80+ Gold!

Cons: The price is a bit high for my liking, if it wasn't on sale when I bought it, I likely would have gone a bit cheaper, however it is definitely worth the $170 it commands.

Pros: While it worked, it supplied plenty of power, was quiet, didn't seem to be having problems.

Cons: Less then 2 months into use, it failed. I had nothing that was straining it, an i5-3570k, EVGA GTX 660, Z77A-G45 Mobo, 1TB WD Black, really nothing that is consuming, with less then hardcore gaming.

Pretty disappointed, I had heard great things on this PSU, so I was confident in my purchase, hopefully this is just a fluke.

Other Thoughts: I do plan to get this replaced, that is, if customer service is good, and willing to cooperate at all, have heard bad things on Seasonic's RMA department, but hopefully the process isn't too painful.

Pros: 33% off, gold, quiet fans, can put out more than 650 watts, awesome stuff!

Cons: nothing yet

Pros: It's quiet, fully modular, comes with plenty of cables and connectors, and has no problem at all running a system with an OC i5-3570k and a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7970 OC 3GB!

Cons: Haven't found one yet. It has been running smoothly and quietly for over a year now. Not a single issue with it.

Pros: Installed fine. No issues so far.

Shipped via OnTrac and got here in 48 hours.

Cons: The cables are a lot stiffer and cheaper than I expected although they work ok. The cable count and selection was also not as good as I expected.... sort of defeats the purpose for buying a modular PSU. Purchased an Ultra 850 a few years ago for about the same money as this PSU... the Ultra was a MUCH better quality unit.

As I said, everything is working so far but for $120 Seasonic could have provided better cables.
