5 out of 5 eggsGreat htpc replacement

Pros: It works. And it fits perfectly in my HEC 7K09BBA30FNRX case. I made the mistake of buying a case with a built-in non-standard size PSU, and while it did last me 3.5 years, it finally died. I assumed I would have to buy a new case, a new PSU and, while I was in the habit of replacing parts, I might as well get a new htpc build.

This PSU fit perfectly in my current case - the screws lined up and everything. Amazing. So I get to keep my current system.

Cons: None yet.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet fan

Pros: I bought this fan based on recommendations as a replacement for a slim-case Dell Studio computer. Apparently, the Dell power supplies on the model fail after a couple of years. Once I installed the power supply and turned on the computer, I had to make sure the fan was actually running because it was that quiet. So far, I'm Very pleased with my purchase.

Cons: I don't believe it came with any screws. I didn't check since I used the ones from original power supply.

Other Thoughts: Replacing a power supply is very easy. If you've never replaced one of these, I recommend you noting where the cables are plugged in on the computer (maybe even take a picture) just to make sure you don't forget one of the components.

5 out of 5 eggs300w Seasonic ss 300 tfx - slim

Pros: cant hear it run , so quiet I will need monitor it for cooling , used the Seasonic to Replace the commonly failing , 4 year old Bestec 250w , used in Dells Inspiron 531s , that gave me a ram power supply failure . Best of all Newegg had it to me before I could blink.

Cons: Its too new to tell , but I do not anticipate any

Other Thoughts: Newegg Rocks !

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Been working 1 month straight in a Teamspeak 3 and Minecraft Bukkit Server. 90% idle time so im maxing most of the time around 50 Watts

Cons: None So Far

Other Thoughts: If i had a spare case i would have just got a Normal power supply for the server but if all you got TFX case you make do with it and spend a little more on the power supply. I Know are small and dont have much but i would have loved at least one more molex and Sata Power connection

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: It works.

Cons: None, so far.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this to replace the stock powersupply in a foxconn RM3-H2 barebones(which seems to go out on everyone). Was worried a bit on the dimensions, but it fit perfectly. It's been a few months now and still chugging along with no problems so I can't complain.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems nominal

Pros: I bought this to replace the PS that came with my case. The old PS burned out after about 1 hour. This one has thus far lasted much longer. I put it in an HTPC case, connected to a 20" monitor and running an AMD CPU/Asus Mobo with onboard video. Nothing super but it runs WoW nicely. The rig gets about 3-4 hours of use per day and this PS has held its own.

Cons: This isn't a CON with this PSU but with this design. 300W seems to be the max in this format. Unless you absolutely have to use a case that uses this PSU format, I would recommend finding another case. Check the PSU before purchasing!

5 out of 5 eggsHTPC quiet pc

Pros: This power supply is much quieter and cooler than the stock tfx 220w model in my inwin mini itx case. I am running a noctua low profile cooler on the i5-3570k cpu and could still here too much fan noise even when turned down. When I swapped out the stock power supply and put this seasonic everything became very quiet. I had to put my ear against the case to hear a slight whir.

Another huge benefit is since this power supply is more effiient than the cheap ones included in cases it gives off a lot less heat. The inwin case I'm using only has one 80 mm case and the power supply fan has to be oriented to flow into the case not out of it. Since I swapped the seasonic in my cpu runs about 5 degrees C cooler after using this cpu. For cases with tfx power supplies I don't see it getting much better than this unit.

Cons: with the extra sata power connectors it is a bit harder to route the cables in my case. This is very minor and I'm nit picking here. I really like this power supply thus far.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm.

Pros: I ordered it for Dell vostro 200s, as a replacement for OEM power unit. It works perfectly without any problems other non-oem PSU creates.

Cons: This power supply is a "generic" power supply for TFX cabinets. It is highly recommended to check dimensions before ordering. I managed to put it in my DELL vostro 200s with minor difficulties.

Other Thoughts: Over all, its good.

5 out of 5 eggsReplacement

Pros: 80 Plus Bronze which is better than the one it replaced. Right size and good brand. Love some newegg.com

Cons: Longer cables so some cable management is needed for the small cases these usually fit in. But not really a con.
