1 out of 5 eggsDOA

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: None

Cons: The PSU came DOA (Dead on Arrival). I made the mistake and put everything together in the case before testing to see all the new products work and when trying to boot the new computer it doesnt turn on. Turns out after testing the PSU it is dead. 4 hrs down the drain of putting together and cable managing everything perfectly.

Other Thoughts: Dont buy this, I will stick with OCZ or Corsair now.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsDid the job

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I highly recommend this PSU. After going through a PSU nightmare with my most recent build this one did the job and literally had the perfect cables to go with what I needed. Even came with a sticker! I'll be going with Seasonic on my next build as well.

Cons: Doesn't come in variations of colors to match my sleuth of cathodes, LEDs and interior decor... I guess that's not really a con lol.

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: It works as it should and as advertised

Cons: doesn't boast a great cable selection
Hard to screw into my case
cords didn't reach well to everywhere i wanted them to go

Other Thoughts: im not docking an egg because it is a semi modular PSU and it works fine.

3 out of 5 eggsThis PSU is very well reviewed BUT

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This SeaSonic product is very well reviewed on the web, and SeaSonic has a good reputation for building quality products.

Cons: After about twelve hours of service the PSU died softly, meaning that when it died it didn't take any of the devices connected to with it. My computer would black screen randomly. I fixed the issue with a PSU I bought locally.

Other Thoughts: I still strongly believe that SeaSonic makes great PSUs , so that's why I gave the PSU three eggs. I also believe that the item I got just slipped through quality control.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear John, I am sorry for your experience with our product. We do try our best to make sure the prodcuts we deliver performs to our standards. If you have further information or feedback, please kindly write to newegg@seasonicus.com Thank You.

Pros: * Works like it should

5 out of 5 eggsGreat improvement!!!

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Great price.

I do music production and with my old PSU that came with my computer case, it would get loud especially near the end of its life. Installed this SeaSonic. Its super quiet. I did alot of research before buying one and found SeaSonic to be a reputable brand.

Cons: None at the moment. Unless it starts making noises this thing is A1!!!

4 out of 5 eggsSeaSonic Ride the Wave

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze 520W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS 12V v2.91 SLI 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Great Power supply. Good Manual and Easy install. Fired up without a problem and is quiet as a church mouse.

Cons: Modular Cables could be more flexible. I would have preferred 3 - 2 Sata Socket cables instead of the 2 -3 Sata socket cables that come with it, but these are minor complaints.

Other Thoughts: The features for the price and the 5 year SeaSonic Warranty really gives you a good bang for your buck
