5 out of 5 eggsexcellent PSU

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: purchased this to replace a OCZ PSU in my media center. Was hesitant to purchase at first, never tried seasonic before, but I liked the price and the fact it was fully modular. Was very impressed with how its setup, and the full modular is very very nice and its working well.

Cons: no LED lights lol.

Other Thoughts: Id buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Modular PSU that runs cool, quiet, and effectively powers my first pc build. Seasonic brand so the quality is supposedly built to last based on what I've heard.

Cons: The 24-pin connector didn't click when I inserted it into the motherboard. Being my first build I had trouble determining whether I actually had it inserted properly. Additionally, the 24-pin cord split that connects to the PSU refused to insert into the labeled PSU areas easily. I fought with the thing for an hour trying to get it inserted into the PSU. Ended up rocking it somehow and it managed to pop in there.

Being modular some of the cables were a little too short to hide them properly and most of them were really stiff to shape them properly.

Expensive compared to other brands (~$20 more).

Other Thoughts: Despite fighting with some of the inserts the PSU seems to be working great so far. Hopefully it manages to last me a long time.

4 out of 5 eggshigh rated nice psu

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: works as it should so far. fully modular. picked up for $50 with promo. plenty of length to the cables

Cons: some of the connections are kind of hard to fully snap in. felt like i was gonna break something with the force required

the gpu cable is pretty stiff and was sticking out too far for my side panel. took some work to get it flattened out so my side panel wasnt putting pressure on the gpu.

expected the flat sata cables to be easy to deal with but i was wrong. it makes the cables not like to bend certain ways

Other Thoughts: amd fx 6300

msi r9 280 3gb
apotop 2x 4gb

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mid-End PSU

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Bought this for a mining farm, and it's been chugging along at 90% usage for a week with no isses. Silent, and cool.

Probably one of the best PSU's I had to date. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

Love the fact that it's fully modular.

Cons: Newegg was slow to ship.

Nothing bad about the seasonic.

Other Thoughts: Great all round PSU. Love the fact that it's fully modular.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product!

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Quiet, Durable, Solidly Built, Modular are just some of the advantages to this power supply. I think that the best feature of this particular power supply is that you only need to use the power connectors that you need. There are plenty connectors to connect even the most advanced system. Yet, for those who do not have that many peripheral devices, you only need to plug in a few connectors.

Cons: The only con that I found is that the power connectors, when plugged in can make it difficult to get the power supply into a smaller case. I would not try to install this power supply into a packed mid-tower. If you have a full tower however, there is plenty of room for all the connectors coming out of the back of the unit.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a great power supply that has all the power that you need, is quiet, and don't want to have all the extra connectors loose inside you computer case, then I would recommend this power supply.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Fully modular to make cable management easy
-Most of the cables are long and give ample room to connect with one exception, see con
-Comes with lots of cables and a nice little bag to store them in
-Relatively quiet

Cons: -Motherboard cable seemed a little short, an extra 0.5-1 inch would be perfect

Other Thoughts: My first SeaSonic psu and I have absolutely no regrets with this purchase. Just enough power headroom for my needs and it made cable management super easy. I would definitely buy from SeaSonic again.

4 out of 5 eggsone thing

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This modular PS works great and I have nearly no complaints about it.

Cons: The only thing I did notice is that the plugs included in this product seem very cheap compared to others I've seen.

Other Thoughts: All things considered, I'd still recommend this for the price, very well built.

4 out of 5 eggsSome quirks but it turns on so that's nice.

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Modular, sturdy, quality construction. It comes well packed and all the cables come in a little gimmicky sack. It provides consistent power and is quiet. The cables are plenty long enough inside of the Fractal Design R4 case.

Cons: Plugging in the wires can be troublesome and may require a fair amount of force which is why I deducted one egg. Once you get your plug aligned with the cable, the clip doesn't snap in place on some ports (mainly PCI-E) unless you really put some work into it. I think more work could go into the clasps on the ends of the cables.

Other Thoughts: I've never purchased a SeaSonic before but I'm really hoping it goes for as long as my Antec 550w is still going. I bought an Antec TrueControl 10+ years ago and it's still working with consistent power. Pretty impressive. Time will tell.

Regardless, for system builders - modular is the way to go.
