SeaSonic Electronics launches the M12II “Bronze” Series, the new and upgraded version of the M12II Series in response to the growing demand and anticipation for more energy-efficient products. The M12II Bronze Series inherits the same output and wattage options as well as the superb quality and ultimate silence from the M12II Series. The M12II Bronze Series, available in 520 and 620 watts, offers buyers with a mid range power output solution with cable management, to meet their exact system needs; cable management is now made easier than ever.

The M12II Bronze Series achieves the 80 PLUS Bronze standard of at least 82% efficiency under 20%, 50% and 100% operating loads respectively. Combined with Active Power Factor correction (Active PFC), the M12II Bronze reduces energy waste, boosts power efficiency and more importantly, helps the users to save energy and reduce electricity bill.

Chris 5/16/2013 8:13:04 AM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Great power suppy, no complaints Pros: This thing provides plenty of power to my Intel Core i5 3570k CPU/MSI GTX660 OC graphics cards system. My unit has never had any problems whatsoever and has run flawlessly so far. All of the cables have very nice braiding over them and everything being black looks great as well. all plugs attach to everything perfectly. Cons: Isn't 100% fully modular so you will have to hide away whichever of the cpu power cords that you do not need. But I know this when I bought it (look at the pictures) so no eggs off for that. Be warned, the cables for the CPU are not overly long, so if you have a case that is bigger than a Coolermaster HAF912, you may have to run the CPU cable across the top of the Motherboard or you may have to get a small extension for that cable. I was just barely able to get my unit's CPU cable to plug in to the CPU plug running the cable behand the motherboard for a clean look. Did you find this review helpful? Cons: -Had a non-detachable cable that I didn't use, kinda defeated the purpose of being modular, but I didn't know at the time that there were separate "modular" and "fully modular" categories. -The price now. I got it for around $65 with promos, regular price of $85, back in January. Cons: The 4+4 pin power connector is not quite long enough. I buy cases with bottom mounted power supplies, and this will reach the top 4+4 power on the motherboard, but I would have liked a good 3-4 more inches minimum so I could have tucked the cable away out of eyesight. Fan was rattling when I first turned it on. For the price and performance, you just can't go wrong here. It will power your system without issues with any single GPU you throw at it, and possibly SLI/Crossfire also. 620W Is plenty of power, and we all know Seasonic makes quality products.
