Pros: Reliable. Solid as rocks! It has been running for 4 years without any problems.

Cons: Not a module PSU. Only 80 Plus Silver, not 80 Plus Gold.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine in 09 and have been running it since then. Back in 09, it had black color instead of white.

Pros: - Reliable
- Good quality build
- Price

Cons: Some people pay more money for the same PSU sold under different name (ex : Antec TruePower)

Other Thoughts: Been running this PSU for about 2 years now.

My system run 24/7, I restart it about every 10 or 15 days.

My system was shutdown during 3 months this summer.

Never had a problem, always work great.

SeaSonic are good quality PSU, they are also sold under others compagny, Antec TruePower for exemple are in fact SeaSonic PSU.

At my job, we have about 500 computers running with this PSU, very little failure rate compare to other PSU (stay away from FSP Group PSU).

Pros: Delivers power, works. What else can you say.

Cons: Really wish they would have included a power cable. That's why 4 stars.

Pros: Has powered my computer just fine for 4 months now. Apparently this is the OEM version of the SeaSonic M12D 850W which is more expensive. All of the benchmarks and reviews I have read suggest that this is a nice and stable power supply. And btw, it's a Seasonic! I haven't ran into any issues so far. (see build below).

Cons: Not modular, and there's a whole lot of cable coming out of this thing. If you have a case that can accommodate a lot of cords, go for it. My HAF 922 had plenty of room behind the mobo to hide cables, so it wasn't an issue for me.

Other Thoughts: If you are worried about the whole 1 or 2 12V rail thing, don't be. From what I've read the two "rails" combine into one rail basically. Even if there are 2 rails, what is going to need more than 40 amps? Here is my build:

It powers all of that at full load no problem. This is the sweet spot for an intermediate SLI system. If you are using GTX 580s or something like that, you might need to have more watts.

Pros: 80+ Silver certified
Efficient
Stable voltages.
Powers all my stuff with ease.

Cons: Doesn't look great.

Other Thoughts: I got way too huge of a PSU for my build.

Pros: Right after I wrote my review, I was able to find a review of the model M12D that this power supply is based on. Jonnyguru already tore this one apart. Just as I suspected by reading the label, this is a single +12V rail design, and there are two 40A current limiters running off of the ONE +12V rail. That seemed to me to be what the label was saying, and the label is correct.

Cons: I agree the label is misleading.

Other Thoughts: The label really should be changed to reflect this, but this power supply is a single rail design. So don't be bashing this thing for having dual rails. It only has one.

Pros: There is some question in the reviews about the rails. The sticker does seem to indicate two rails. But the sticker also seems to indicate ONE +12V voltage rail. If this was a true dual-rail design, then there would be 960W available at +12V. As the total wattage available at +12V is lower than 960W, that indicates to me that it is a SINGLE +12V rail design with a couple of 40W current limiters.

There are very few power supplies on the market that actually have multiple +12V rails. For every 100 that claim to have multiple +12V rails, probably one or two of them actually do. One such is the Sirtec built OCZ Modxstream 500W, recently discontinued.

Could this Seasonic 850W HT Silver unit have multiple +12V rails? We won't know until jonnyguru or pcper or hardocp or the like disassembles one to find out exactly what is connected, and WHERE.
But judging by the label (and Seasonic tends to have accurate labels on their own builds) I'd say this is a single +12V rail.

Cons: Label is misleading though. It seems to indicate both a dual +12V rail design, and a single +12V rail design. So who knows?
Nobody has really reviewed it yet, that I can find.

Other Thoughts: jonnyguru needs to chime in on this one!!!

Pros: Stable voltages, very quiet, long cables, most connectors are labeled.

Cons: 3x SATA connectors seem to be assembled backwards and you will need to do quite a bit of twisting to get them at the right angle, nothing major though.

Other Thoughts: Good quality for the price, no real complaints.

Pros: All cables are lengthy, yes i have extra to spare, but that is better than the cable not being long enough IMO.
Amazing value when you look at the 12 volt amps you are getting for your money.
The cables are sleeved.

Cons: Not much to complain about on the PSU itself.
Newegg does have it listed as a single rail PSU. They do have a pic of the sticker that clearly shows it has 2 40 amp 12v rails though, so I knew what i was getting and won't take off an egg. Would be nice to see them correct this though.

Other Thoughts: Seasonic is a great company, Many of Corsair's PSU's have Seasonic internals. This runs my GTX 470 SLI No problem.

Pros: Failed...what pro?

Cons: I have a Quad core system with SLI. Total draw is less then 450W. This is a 850W supply that failed after 40 days of use. My first failure. I usually use Antec and they never failed.
