5 out of 5 eggsSeasonic quality

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM2 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Full-modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Just enough power to run my daughters desktop and no brown outs or shorts. Will buy Seasonic for PSU needs from here on out.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and powerful.

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM2 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Full-modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: - Its got enough headroom to run sli and corssfire configs with some OC going on.

Cons: - The power connectors look a little squished together.

Other Thoughts: I had the fans being really loud as a con before, but it's not the fan or the psu. It was my case being really low to the ground. The 200r's risers are minimal to say the least and allowed no air flow making the psu over extend its fan speed. I put some risers under my pc and boom, quiet as a fiddle.

4 out of 5 eggsVery reliable

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM2 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Full-modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: - No problems (yet)
- The fan is extremely quiet.
- Runs my PC without any issues.

Cons: - Modular power supply cords could be longer
- The cords felt cheap

Other Thoughts: Extremely efficient for a budget PC build if it is on sale.

5 out of 5 eggsMy first Seasonic PSU since a P3 Tulatian back in '01. My first modular PSU as well.

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM2 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Full-modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: It's heavy, appears high quality, and has all the modern features. I expected to perhaps have some issues installing due to size, but it appears to be standard ATX sizing or very close. Modular cabling is high quality and easy to route. Compared to the Rosewill 600D it replaced, 12v and 5v are much, much tighter, with this coming in at 12.144v on the 12v and 5.040v on the 5v. Dead quite, even when gaming or running stress tests (Prime95 and AIDA64). Exhaust is barely warm. More connectors than most machines could possibly need. This unit is both quieter and smaller than I expected. The system this is currently powering:

i5 3330, non-K OC to 3.6ghz
16GB (8GBx2) Avexir DDR3 at 1.65v (1600 7-8-8-21)
Asrock Z75 Pro3
Intel XM-25 80GB SSD
Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB SSD
2x Hitachi 2TB SATA HD
EVGA GTX960 SSC PCIe Video
Intel Pro 1000GT PCI NIC
Creative SB-Z PCIe Sound Card
6xDeepCool 120mm double ball bearing fans
Silverstone 8-port PWM hub

A nice fellow on an auction site hooked me up with a good deal on a de-lidded and lapped 3770k, Newegg has a Corsair H75 closed loop on it's way as well. I'm confident this unit will have no issues powering those very well.

Cons: Not any that I can see so far.

Other Thoughts: Seasonic has a pretty sterling reputation and it's easy to see why. Price is not cheap, but very much in line for the quality and power you get. The guys over at JonnyGuru rate this series highly, which did influence my decision to buy.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM2 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Full-modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Quality
Noise
Price
Reliability
Efficient

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This thing is kinda big and bulky, comes with tons of accessories and spare cables, and the price was 75$ at the time. Hasn't sneezed a bit since purchase, and continues to deliver no matter what i throw at it.

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible fan noise

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM2 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Full-modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: easy to hook up with full modular design.

Cons: The fan is SPASTIC! I thought i would go with a SeaSonic due to their reputation. It is coming out to put back in the 650 TX Corsair.

Other Thoughts: This would be a great PSU if not for the fan noise.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Mark, sorry for the inconvenience. The fan can be loud if the system is running hotter than normal. If your system is running with proper cooling, then it is possible the fan control needs to be recalibrated. Please visit www.seasonicusa.com to start your RMA and they will sort this out for you as soon as possible. If you have any issues, please write to: newegg@seasonicus.com Thank You

5 out of 5 eggsGood PSU so far

This review is from: SeaSonic M12II 750 SS-750AM2 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Full-modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Pretty quiet operation
Modular at this price point
Reliable

Cons: Wish it was GOLD certified?
Wish the cables were color coded or labeled better

2 x 4-pin FDD connectors? Honestly who uses these anymore? waste of space in the cable bag.

Other Thoughts: Originally used in my gaming rig for about a year. Then I started adding components, and needs more wattage. I then used this PSU to power a HTPC that has now been running for over a year.

Good PSU, would buy again.
