It's modular for those cable that needs to be modular. The primary cables that'll always need to be plugged in are not modular which allows the thing to be cheaper than completely modular ss-400fl I currently own. The modular cables are also not stiff like the ones included with the ss-400. They're not sleeved at all which I really like. Cons: There are no cons I can think of. At least not related to this power supply. If I had to pick a nit, it would be that it isn't packed the cables are packed in the ridiculously extravagant and overly excessive "crown royal" like velvet bags that came with the SS-400. Then again, this isn't a con. It's actually a pro, because I don't have to pay for something ridiculous I don't need. Other Thoughts: I'm using this to run a FreeNAS box and the total amount of power typically used is 50 watts total. 50! Total! Cons: None Other Thoughts: From unboxing, through installation to use, I've been impressed by this PSU. The cables were included in a nice drawstring bag, the PSU looks and feels well made, functions flawlessly and it even included a few reusable cable ties. It powers my Asus p8z77-m, Motherboard, i53470, dvd burner, 2 ssd's, evga gtc650 ti graphics car, and h60 water cooler plus 5 fans. And I still have room to grow.
