4 out of 5 eggsGood Quality Psu for the money

Pros: Seasonic Quality
Silent
Price

Cons: Could use a couple more sata power connectors
4+4 pin aux cpu power cable needs to be longer for cases with bottom mounted psu's
Other sata and molex 5 pin cables could be longer
not modular
Not really made in USA, this one is from the china factory not the USA factory, still great quality but I just like to support US companies when possible.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this for a budget build that you still want a quality power supply and a silent one, I would only use this with a small to mid tower case and not much in it 1-2 hard drives and 1-2 optical drives. I used this in a build with the Nzxt phantom 410 series CA-PH410 mid tower case, and an Asus Z97-A mother board. the case is a bottom psu mount and i had to use an extension cable for the 4+4 pin aux cpu power connector to route it behind the motherboard to the top of the board to reach the connector. it would reach if i did not go behind the board but it would have been difficult to tie the wire off somewhere safe especially if i had any pci cards installed. It needs more Sata power connectors and although the wires were just long enough I would have liked the wires to have been longer, I would probably not use this in a full tower case (only if the full tower had a top mount psu would i consider it) This was a simple build with only 1 hdd and 1 optical drive so in my case it worked out. Love how quiet the power supply is. I was disappointed to see Chinese symbols on the psu, This on is not made in the USA factory. but still Seasonic Quality

5 out of 5 eggs"This says OEM. I assume it comes with all cables, etc."

Pros: Yes! "Just what does OEM mean in this instance?" Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is a term used when one company makes a part or subsystem that is used in another company's end product. SeaSonic competes in two markets: 1) hobbyist - looks pretty and has a lot of superfluous connectors. 2) OEM - the same power supply without the extra connectors and all the necessary power cables soldered in place. I far prefer this version without all the extra fluff to fail. Runs very quiet - seems reliable.

Cons: None so far!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Runs like a charm. Everything is being powered up as needed and supporting my GPU that demands 500W just fine (Sapphire Radeon HD 7950).

-The silence. Makes me double check if I really did power up my computer.

-80 Plus Gold certified assurance

Cons: Just a few nitpicks:

-The plugs might be a bit snug. It requires a bit of pressure to push it into my hard drive and CD drive.

-I thought it would have an individual box that it would arrive in like how you would buy a PSU from an electronics store. I opened up my Newegg shipping box to find that it was encased in a lot of bubble wrap and the wires were strapped down with tape to the PSU. It made me think that this was a refurbished product.

Other Thoughts: The size is just right for my Dell XPS 8300. I've only had it for a few days now as compared to my old Dell PSU that has been powering it up for the past 3 years. Only reason why I had to swap out was because I got the HD 7950 and it requires at least 500W to work.
