1 out of 5 eggsDied After 31 Days

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: You get what you pay for sometimes.
In this instance - junk.

Other Thoughts: Ordered 3/10/2013. Died 4/11/2013. Used in a low power system with AMD 65 watt CPU and 50 watt GPU. Just one day past Newegg's 30 day refund/replacement window. Not worth the effort and expense to RMA with RAIDMAX so lesson learned: read the reviews and trust the experience of others. Note to self: Never purchase a RAIDMAX product again.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Inexpensive. Moves a lot of air. Will work with a 20-pin or 24-pin power connector mobo.

Cons: Loud. 2nd fan is mounted on the outside (where the wires come out), so it's a little bulky.

Other Thoughts: Replaced a stock PSU in an E-machine box. If noise is a concern, you don't want this power supply. My box is going in the attic, so the noise is fine and the extra fan welcome.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA- JUNK

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Cheap
Arrived DOA. I bought this because my other PSU died. Assuming this was good, and my comp still didn't turn on, this piece of junk tricked me into buying a new motherboard. Will never buy Raidmax again.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY

5 out of 5 eggsSo far no problems

Pros: - It was not DOA
- Has all the plugs I need
- Fairly quiet

Cons: - It says it has 2 fans but one fan is just slapped on the side of it

Other Thoughts: It's not a problem that the 2nd fan is on the outside of the PSU case it just looks cheap, nut you get what you paid for. That's why I didn't take any eggs off for it.

1 out of 5 eggsWrong Connectors?

Pros: Newegg shipped it quickly.

Cons: Wrong connectors on PSU. On the unit I received, it claims to be a RX-450K but It does not have a 4 pin Power connector for older Intel boards - instead it came shipped with a 6 pin video card plug. If you go to RaidMax's website, further confusion begins. They claim there is only One SATA connector, Four 4 pin Molex, floppy and the 24 pin mobo connector.
I have three SATA connectors, a 6 pin video plug, 3 molex and 1 floppy on the power supply I received. So, not sure which description is right, or if this was a manufacturing error.

Returning it for something different.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you check the connectors before installing it.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks good. Needs longer cables.

Pros: Works great.
Fans are relatively silent.
Easy to mount.
Great bargain for the price.

Cons: The length of the cables is a little short. At least for my case that is (Raidmax Blade). Once I get a new graphics card I'll need a longer cpu power cable.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Ran fine for a year with an Athlon II X3 450 and an XFX Radeon HD 5770. I recently upgraded the CPU to a Core i5-2500K and this thing is still working with the CPU and video card at stock.

Cons: Not enough watts or amps to last through a few upgrades. I have the fear that one day this power supply will die and possibly take my other parts with it since it has failed on others with parts with similar or higher power requirements to mine.

Other Thoughts: It came with my case as part of a combo with my old CPU. Would not recommend buying this power supply if you plan to overclock a 95+ W CPU and have a video card that has this power supply as its minimum requirement like I do. I would go with a good Antec, Corsair, or Seasonic (there's also other good brands out there) for that.

4 out of 5 eggsYes it does work

Pros: Works very good, quiet and cool.

Cons: Does not have the same connections as advertised, I thought it was DOA but after some trouble shooting and reading other review I found out that the CPU power supply was double up but it comes apart easily.
