1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this PSU whatever u do...

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: Nice LED

Cons: When I started using this PSU it didn't supply enough power when switching load sizes... The fan was hitting the grill... Cables were to stiff, and died after 6 months

5 out of 5 eggsGoing 24/7 Since 2008

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: Like the energizer bunny, it just keeps going.
Wow! I had to check my purchase history. I have owned this since October 2008 and it is now August 2015. I leave my computer on 24/7 for the most part. I suppose I should upgrade someday but I have never had any problems with this power supply.

Cons: People have had bad luck with this item, guess I am not one of them or they don't make them like they used to.

Other Thoughts: My power supply is new compared to my Coolermaster Stacker 810 case!

5 out of 5 eggsWorked great for me for a long time!

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: Modular design let me make a clean build without excess cables to tie up. I have owned this psu and run it many hours a day from 2008 until 2015 without any problems whatsoever.

Cons: Modular design also means I lost all of the power cables not used in my original build years ago, but that's sorta my fault.

Other Thoughts: A LOT of other reviewers have had problems with defects and it seems like I got lucky with mine. I am replacing it now, not because I'm not satisfied, but because it's been powering my pc for EIGHT YEARS! On the whole, I've heard from many reliable sources that you should beware of any psu that costs less than $1 per 10 watts, e.g. $75 for 750W or $50 for 500W. Hope this helps!

5 out of 5 eggsPurchased a Second Time 5 Years After the First One

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: Same PSU design for the past 5 years means I can replace it with no thinking involved.

Good price for the watts.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a unit 5 years ago (2010) and it ran great until I burned it up due to my own neglect; I ran the PSU hot after failing to clean a pre-filter on the cpu case. The pre-filter was clogged to a point where the PSU had 0% airflow.

Out of curiosity I looked into my order history and found that the same PSU was still being sold, so I purchased it again. Same cabling and everything so the swap-out was quick. The only difference between the 2010 and 2015 purchase was that the more recent purchase included an on/off switch for the blue LED lighting.

10/10, would buy again.

1 out of 5 eggsBuyer beware!

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: The LED looked nice for the few minutes it was on.

Cons: The sata power cables that were included melted when I powered up my system after installation. So I popped my CX600M back in and it worked fine, so concluded that it was the power supply. Don't cheap out on a power supply :\

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for the Buck.

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: I have been using this beast for more than 3 years now. I has lasted every build I have done since. I even smoke around my rig. Lost several ram stciks, 2 mobos and 2 cpus from overclocking. I still run a hd5850 for video. Im not a serious gamer anymore. Gameplay is more valued than eye candy. Video will be upgraded soon. As I get older I want durability and not brute performance. This PS is a mule, flog it. Just don't make it kick.

Cons: Not really cons. not being a gold standard is a downside. but if your a power gamer, this is not the power supply for you. For the rest of the real world with 6-8 cores and a single gpu, this is the PS for you.

Other Thoughts: Got a GPU upgrade in the near future. I will be getting a new one of these and shelving my old one for a back up.

4 out of 5 eggsGun shy.

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: For the price this PSU seems built well enough, but the test of time will show if it fact is. I was gun-shy reading all of the bad reviews but decided to take a chance on my budget build. After over a month of heavy use with a full load I can't see any issues. The blue LED LOOKS great and so far the fan is the quietest one in my case.

Cons: The only couple things I don't like are the unused plugs that protrude from the PSU, and the wiring seems really stiff and hampered me from doing a bit more cable management. For the price it wasn't a deal breaker.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: Had it for a few months now and had no problems at all lights work as expected and everything is smooth.

Cons: Unfortunately there this annoying tick coming from it now I believe its the fan. Other than that though good product.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

This review is from: RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Pros: 730W
Modular
Can turn the fan light off

Cons: None to date

Other Thoughts: Got this to replace an Ultra 550W PSU that had the fan die. Have wanted a modular, and this was an upgrade that was more than worth it in my eyes.
