1 out of 5 eggsMy thoughts of this power supply

Pros: It works fine mostly. Stable

Cons: I don't ever know when the PC will turn off. I have to keep buying new power cords. When it randomly looses power, the only way for me to turn it back it is on by disconnecting the power cord, and reconnecting it. I eventually need to a new one. I really wish I had got a warranty on this. Lots of mistakes I have made. Was not worth the purchase.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this power supply

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsFailed in 8-months

Pros: Power

Cons: Failed in 8-months of casual use

Other Thoughts: I didn't purchase from NewEgg. PS came in a new computer I bought. Found out the hard way...Warranty from computer manufacturer and RAIDMAZ does not cross ship if there is a problem. Must ship to them and await return 10-14 days.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, Durable Power Supply

Pros: Long lasting

80 Plus Gold

A lot of wattage

Cons: None to speak of.

Other Thoughts: Have had this power supply for three years now, and it still runs like a champ! Would recommend to anyone!

5 out of 5 eggsDespite poor reviews, I'm not disappointed

Pros: Sturdy looking, for a Raidmax, thick cables, and not too noisy.

Cons: The cable protectors are thick and clunky, and it really makes it difficult to connect the hardware in parallel without the wires trying to naturally curl back to how they were bundled at the factory. I've had my blue ray drive become unplugged twice until I zip tied the cable to the chassis.

Other Thoughts: I've heard a lot of hype about these going out. After installing several hard drives, a Blue-Ray player and two crossfired GPU's I still haven't had an issue. More on this if something else develops.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA in less than 3 months

Pros: Worked right out of the box. Performed flawlessly, stayed cool. Ran quiet,

Cons: Less than 3 months old it went "Dead". Had used my PC earlier that day. Powered down. Came home from work and it showed no life. I have it on a surge protected APC 350, no other power issues with other equipment. Waiting on reply from Raidmax to see how the replacement goes. Will update if all works out ok.

Other Thoughts: I like this power supply. Its modular design fits perfectly in my in my Rosewill Thor case. It is very quiet and efficient.

Manufacturer Response:

2 out of 5 eggsWatch the cable plugs

Pros: Hi power. Sleek design. Great price.

Cons: A wire pulled out of the one of the molex connectors and shorted to the case frying several components.

Threw out bad cable. PS survived and is working fine now. Poor quality control on the cable harnesses IMHO

3 out of 5 eggsWorked well, then died

Pros: Worked fairly well, supplied stable power. Did not run too hot.

Cons: Bought mine in 2012, died today January of 2015 dont expect it to live far beyond the warranty, for $100+ PSU I would have expected longer life. It popped and backfed current into my wall and I had to throw a fuse, luckily motherboard survived. Unit is now a brick

Other Thoughts: I pushed about 600/700 watts out of this unit and I sometimes leave my PC running while at work so it had a heavy load, wished it had lifetime warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like it should!

Pros: Dual rail, enough watts to handle most of what any med high/high end gaming system can toss at it, and it has enough sata/pcie connectors to go around. All-in-all a good bang for the buck!

Cons: None so far - it fired up and is running like a champ.
