5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU buy it

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-635AP 635W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: The lights look great and the wires are wrapped in mesh making them look very good as well. It is very quiet I do not even hear it running very happy with it so far only 1 1/2 months in but running good so far

Cons: Had a rebate attached to it still waiting for my rebate but still in window to recieve it. Wish they would do away with mail in rebates but thats the point of them. If you don't get around to doing all the stuff in the time frame they require then no rebate for joo. I mean in this day and age no reason it couldnt all be handled online. Newegg has proof of order from your account. But then again everyone who buys it will get a rebate and we can't have that . k nuff ranting about that. No cons with the PSU itself good product.

1 out of 5 eggsquality check mia

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-635AP 635W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: blue fan

Cons: so I got this as a deal like 60$ or something. I hooked it up then spent hrs trying to figure out what was wrong. I am making my first build (w.i.p.) and though I have the necessary components I couldn't get it to start so I finally decide to inspect it my self. It was missing a cord for the motherboard so it only had 19+4 cords. I was disappointed but I sent back and had to pay shipping but the new one came quick and I got it and was excited. I open the box like a kid on christmas only to find IT HAD THE SAME DEFECT. so I had to pay another 10$ to ship it for my refund. I feel like quality check doesn't exist @ raidmax. be warned and purchase at your own risk. listen to me and everybody who knows how to build pcs. don't skimp the psu.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Power Supply

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-635AP 635W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Fit nicely in my case and the screw holes lined up. Plenty of power for my system and the modular design allows you to pick and choose only the cables you need. The cables are plenty long enough for the mid-tower case that it's installed in. Looks good too.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than Expected

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-635AP 635W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Modular Connections, Accessibility, This unit was more than expected for the price. The modular connection were great for cable management. Overall very good piece of equipment

Cons: only 3 different modular types. Liked the modular connection could have been nice if the PCE connection were either longer space between the connection or more of them.

Other Thoughts: This was used in my HOME PC Media Center. it supplied more than enough power and usability

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-635AP 635W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: It's smaller than the plain SilverStone 650 W that it replaced by about 2 inches. Made it much easier to install. Now I can see the bare metal of my case upper forward area. Makes my motherboard look small.

I am surprised by how quiet it is. When I first turned it on I could tell the difference. It's only a faint whirl, Almost completely silent.

The modular cables snap into the power supply fully strong and tight.

Blue LED goes with my lit memory nicely

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Did not solve my flickering graphics problem, but worth it for the small form factor, low noise level and modular cables.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-635AP 635W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Plenty of power for my build. Has enough clean power to push my GTX 980. LED looks nice as well.

Cons: The fan is too loud? Not even, really. I haven't seen any problems thus far.
