5 out of 5 eggsno problems yet!

Pros: no problems yet - handles the load of a high end gpu and one of amd's greedy 8 core (125 w i think) - then again it /is/ 600+ w.

Cons: no problems using it thus far

Other Thoughts: was wondering why my computer glowed blue

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: The 635 watt PSU has powered my rig just fine for 2 years.

Cons: First one was DOA but replaced quickly.

Other Thoughts: My rig:
-AMD FX-8350 8-core processor
-8bg ram
-HIS i-power IceQ R9 290
-2 HDD
-1 SSD
-A gang of fans

The first sample i received had a internal bolt dislodge during shipping. Customer service quickly replaced it and the RMA was filed quickly.

2 out of 5 eggsBeware of Rebate!

Pros: It works fine and its power claims are true based on a Kill-A-Watt meter I tested it on, I haven't torcher tested it at max wattage for over 5 minutes but it works well so far on a basic pc & gfx card. Longevity yet to be seen but I'm a bit weary of this lasting very long and Raidmax customer service wouldn't be much help for warranty claims.

Cons: I ordered this in August 2015 and processed the rebate forms right away and now its mid January 2016 and I still haven't received the $20 rebate I was suppose to get. I have received rebates on other items I ordered from Newegg months after this item but I'm still waiting on this RAIDMAX rebate and I doubt I'll ever get it! So for anybody who thinks their getting a good deal with the rebate Raidmax is supposedly offering better count on never receiving it.

Other Thoughts: I would have given this more stars if the rebate would have came, its not a bad power supply for the rebated price. Its just deceptive marketing on RAIDMAX's behalf!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We are so sorry to hear that you have not yet received your rebates at this point.
Please send a email to rebate@raidmax.com
Or you can call us Mon-Fri 9am ~ 5pm pacific time.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, rebate pending

Pros: The price was good, assuming that I receive my rebate. There are pretty blue lights, if you like that sort of thing. The modular cords were nice and I've had no problems with installation or performance. It should do nicely for me once I upgrade to a thirstier video card.

Cons: Rebate status updates are not timely, and the submission process is a bit of an ordeal

Other Thoughts: The rebate is still pending. If I receive it I'll update this review, if, in a nother month, I don't, I will also change this review to accurately reflect my experience.

Rebates are a deliberately onerous process, and I feel that the business behaviors surrounding them break trust with customers.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
Please give us a call for live support to see what might of happened to your rebate.
We process hundreds of rebates per month and we suggest you call for live support for this matter.
Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: It worked first time and as advertized
Nice blue fan color to match the blue fan from case.

Cons: so far none, and I hope it stays that way.

Other Thoughts: I had to reorder the case for this build due to missing screws. And now I missed rebate deadline by one day. I wish they would give more than 3 weeks to submit rebate since we need to received all the parts and burn them in few days to make sure it works.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: got it at a great price on sale!
very clean and nicely packaged product.
very easy to install and get up and running.

Cons: non so far.

Other Thoughts: led lights are very bright and some of the cables are a bit long but easy to zip tie and shorten up. Very nice product for $30 dollars!

5 out of 5 eggsReally nice

Pros: Super quiet.
Plenty of power for what I need now, and upgrades it the future.
Fits my micro-ATX case.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wasn't looking for PSU with a blue LED, but it compliments my case nicely.
