4 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU!! HORRIBLE Rebate Process

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: This PSU is awesome. It does what I need it to do and I love the blue led colors. Hopefully it lasts and is as reliable as it looks. I really like the modular design. This was also very easy to install.

Cons: Rebate process! I bought this on 4/26/2014 and still HAVE NO rebate. So, I went to the rebate site to check the status and it said disqualified for sending the sales order, not the invoice. What a joke. I printed out the invoice contained within my account profile and followed all of the remaining instructions. I emailed them my concerns and we'll see how they respond.

Other Thoughts: Rebate process again. I thought about docking this two eggs, but I saw another reviewer had issues with this and received a response from the manufacturer. They said they contract out the rebate process. Maybe you should bring that back in-house as it looks bad on you. Just a thought. I'll only dock an egg this time.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
First we like to thank you for your review.
We have heard your response and will acknowledge the issue to the Rebates company that we partner with.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Beautiful Blue LED
Relatively small (check exact specs)
Plenty of cords for hooking up anything you would need

Cons: I very greatly stress "a little" in the next sentence.
It's a little loud.

Other Thoughts: Very soon I will be getting a second 270x and crossfiring the both of them using this power supply. After doing some testing this power supply will have plenty of reserve for running the two and 4 120mm fans, as well as a 6300. I will update the review with my results once that happens.

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Works as designed

Cons: Not totally modular.

Other Thoughts: This power supply had a rebate from the manufacturer at the time I bought it. I never got the rebate these people had all the excuses not to give it. they would not even answer back or tell you what you had to do...don't care about costumer satisfaction.

3 out of 5 eggsGood looking power supply, but louder than I expected

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Cheap, great looking, modular.

Cons: Not the quietest power supply out there, the blue LED light may be distracting for some.

Other Thoughts: I like this power supply, but frankly it is the loudest component in my computer when it's idling. True my case has lots of vents everywhere to let hot air (and therefore also noise) out, but that also means that I can hear the fan from this power supply fairly easily when I'm not gaming or doing something that makes my processor heat up, which makes my processor fan drown out the noise of this PSU.

If I could do it all over again, I would spend more money on a quieter power supply. Not to say that this PSU is noisy, just that it's loud enough to hear, unlike the Antec PSU that it replaced. The Antec one I had (that was lower wattage) was much quieter.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
First we like to thank you for your review.
We have heard your response and forwarded over to our production team in our manufacture factory overseas.

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: I like that it is modular and blue leds are cool too. The wires feel like good quality to me.
Would recommend!

Cons: Should be a 750w, but this is enough power for me.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: It's not DOA and does look good. The modularity is really, really nice for keeping the case free of extra cables.

Cons: The amperages aren't very impressive compared to the maximum total wattage. I own a Corsair 650w unit that has equal or higher amps at all voltages.

Other Thoughts: Excellent bang for your buck..

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: I've recenttly read soooo many bad reviews on this brand. I however had his this in my build for 5months so far no problems, powers everything i ran at it NO PROBLEMS at all. If you have doubts on this brand read reviews on people who have the brand because from what i've seen we all prove it works fine whereas people who don't own it say it is not very good. Bottom of the line IT'S GOOD

Cons: Not fully modular, but it's fine

4 out of 5 eggsAs Described

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: It is cheap and works great. I have only had it a month, so, I think at this moment everything is good to go.

Cons: The constant fear that I bought a defective unit like so many have complained about. Other then that, None.
