1 out of 5 eggsStarted going during warranty, died one month after.

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Looks nice out the outside

Cons: Cheap on the inside
12v+ reads from 11.40 down to an amazing 10.9......
Support doesn't care at all.

Other Thoughts: BSOD's on my PC started happening well during the warranty period, As any PC tech knows it takes a while to diagnose BSOD's when they are interment and you get many dump files that point different directions. Well a month after warranty it just totally went, the PC had no power. Replaced the PSU with one out of the other PC and after a week of testing the PC is stable. I Contacted Raidmax about the situation and I got a reply with giant red text quoting their warranty policy. There was no sorry to hear that, no lets see if we can find your order, no help at all....

With most other companys they offer (corsair) 5 to (EVGA) 10 year warranty, Raidmax only offers 2.... It should tell you something right there.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We are sorry that this PSU only offers 2 years warranty.
We are continuing to get newer models which will offer longer warranty periond.
Again, we're sorry for the inconvenience and if you have any other questions, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price.

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Modular, good price. Been working well in my system for a few months.

Cons: Fan is a bit loud. I modified a silent fan and changed it out. Only thing that prevented a 5.

2 out of 5 eggsReplacement also defective!

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Has a 2 year warranty

Cons: Purchase this PS one year ago to keep on shelf as a spare. Finally went to use it and it was completely dead. I received an RMA promptly but had to pay $15 shipping to return to company. One week later I received a new PS that works but has a low level rumble coming from the fan. I give up. It will be cheaper to buy a $12 (135mm) fan than to ship PS back and loose another week.

Other Thoughts: Bad Luck or bad product? The PSU is the most important item in your build don't get cheap here. Broke my own rule!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We are so sorry to hear this.
Again, if you like to process another RMA or need any spare parts, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.

Pros: - Got this on sale for $49

- Add underglow lighting effect to my chassis
- I like the dual colored sleeving
- This PSU is perfect for a setup with an NVIDEA 970 or AMD R9 380X

Cons: -- Wish the cables were all black

1 out of 5 eggsShorted out, didn't work!

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Cables are nice, i guess...

Cons: Put this thing under about 60% load and it refused to turn on, it would only flick on and off. Went to a local store and bought a Corsair, plugged it in and everything worked fine.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend, get a more reliable brand. As soon as i told my PC-builder friend it was a Raidmax he knew that was the problem, sent me links to them shorting and sparking on YouTube. You get what you pay for!

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We are sorry to hear that you were having problems with this PSU.
All of our PSU are backed up with 2 years warranty.
If you like to claim your warranty, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.

4 out of 5 eggsOn sale for $40 and $20 after rebate.

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: packaged well and super fast shipping! got it in 2 days!

Cons: non so far

Other Thoughts: i bought this for my upcoming build and haven't even opened it yet. that's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. my 635w psu is the same brand and make and runs like a charm! i'm sure this one will be no different and at 40 dollars i couldn't pass it up!

5 out of 5 eggsNew Raidmax customer, very happy

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: This PSU responded straight out of the box. All of the voltages measured up to specs using my tester. $20 with MIR, so I took a big chance on this box. I wasn't disappointed so far. I'm not into PSUs with LEDs, but it's a nice touch especially if you like blue. Going into an A10-7850K/gigabyteA88UP4/16gbcorsairvengeanceddr3/C70/H105/asusradeaonr7 250 build.

Cons: None so far, I plan on bench testing and running it at high speed.

Other Thoughts: Replacing a DOA CX500. It wasn't worth RMA'ing a PSU, paying shipping both ways + some ridiculous "user" fee on an item I paid $50 for to receive a refurbished model as a replacement. I'm no lawyer but to me that isn't a warranty or a bargain. So...I've moved on. From now on I'm sticking with Raidmax and Seasonic for my PSUs.

4 out of 5 eggsSeems to be on the cheaper side for power supplies but everything about it is great.

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Works and I got it for 20 bucks as long as I get the rebate and it lasts 6 months I couldn't be happier.
Modular
Cords are a little softer than other brands but still stiff in my opinion
Blue LED
Quiet

Cons: Feels cheaper and lighter than the Corsair CX600 it replaced (saving that for when this one goes out)
It is mounted upside down in my computer case at the bottom of it so you cant really see it or the led light just a little bit shines through to the floor.

Other Thoughts: It runs my i7, GTX 970, SSD, and 7 cooling fans with no trouble at all but thats maybe 350w draw MAX so Im not extremely surprised. Cooling fans only use about 2 watts each so the fact that I have 7 really means nothing. Looks great in my Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green case with all the fans in blue. I would like to see how this supply would run with another 970 hooked up in SLI.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Purchase

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Works perfectly, have had it running for just about a year with no problems yet. Has more than enough power for all of my components.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Would recommend and probably will purchase another one for my next build.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-735AP 735W ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Quiet, Looks cools, lots of high quality cables came with it.

Cons: I bought this item because of the $20.00 rebate from RaidMax at the time..

I filled the rebate form out to to the T. Never got it.. Highly disappointing. I would have gotten a 950W for the same money then.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,
We are sorry to hear you didn't get your rebate.
Let's see if we can get this problem solved.
If you can, please send a email to rebate@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.
