4 out of 5 eggsWorks.

Pros: Works. It's cheap.

Cons: Could use some male molex cables. Comes with lots of female molex cables, why not throw some male in too?

1 out of 5 eggsLow Quallity,

Pros: Supposedly 835 watt capacity, failed to deliver.

Cons: 3 of the plugin sites on the PS for power cables fail to work. Causing all sorts of issues. Unable to get even 3 hard-drives to connect since the single hd power cable that does work, although it has 4 connectors, will not physically reach more than 2 of the hard drives. Attmepted to replace provided cables with others, but they also do not provide power so I suspect it is bad internal connections in the power supply.
+5 supply feed seldom reaches above 4.7 volts. +12 seems ok, but I can't be positive. At least it always reads at 12.01 or higher when checked.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, I did not believe it was the power supply that was failing so I replaced ram, 3 hard drives, cables, physical sata controllers, usb 3 controllers, everything except motherboard since the computer did at least boot with at least one working hard drive, who would have suspected a bad power supply?... since I am beyond warranty all I can say is that I will never purchase this brand again.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsBeen wonderful!

Pros: Very quiet, Runs very cool, Never runs out of power, has a very nice LED Glow that matches any systems blue scheme.

Cons: Little bit high price, But 100% worth it.

Other Thoughts: This PSU was a replacement for my 500watt old one when I decided to finally invest in a new machine. I currently use about 675watts when gaming, or doing major editing.

Never once have I had any issues. The PSU plugged right in, all cords are plenty long. The modular design allows me to maximize my air flow as well.

WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE.

5 out of 5 eggsRe-review

Pros: Came with all listed cables. Solid feeling connectors (except the 4-pin molex connector, which didn't seat well with my fan, but that might be the fault of the fan-side connector), nice webbing around the wiring for better airflow around/through the cables.

Cons: Not fully modular, but that is part of the description. Also the 20+4 connector doesn't lock together the two sections well, but it fits in fine with a bit of fiddling and maybe some tape if you need. Same with the 4+4 ones.

Other Thoughts: First power supply I recieved seemed to be DOA, but after reading I thought my local power might be to blame (we have weird over/undervoltage issues). I RMAed the first power supply but bought a pure sine wave UPS to plug the replacement one it. Everything seems to work well now. Power draw is nice and low until I get relly into a video game or number-crunching task, as to be expected from a Bronze-certified power supply.

4 out of 5 eggsEh 2 - wish I could change first opinion

Pros: Well... This failed just over a year, but without issue Raidmax is sending me out a new one. I was under impression warranty was only a year and contacted Raidmax to see about fixing and found the warranty is actually 2 years on this.

Cons: This power supply shouldn't have failed on a lesser used PC so that's why it's only getting 4 star, even though their support team is determined to stand behind their product

2 out of 5 eggsEh

Pros: I love the modular cable system and that cables can be removed so your case isn't filled with cables that aren't used, the power side should be modular as well, with different length cables available.

Cons: Had the power supply almost a year and it failed. It was powered off for about a month, went to power it back on and wouldn't turn on.

Other Thoughts: Unsure if I'd buy again due to the length this lasted. I was nowhere near pushing it's limits (dual core processor, 3 fans total, 4 hdd total). No extreme video cards, etc.

Manufacturer Response:
