4 out of 5 eggsKeeping an eye on it.

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Cheap (may turn out to be a con
Plenty of power
LED can be disabled
Modular
Looks pretty

Cons: The power cable came with the ground prong broken off. This is the reason for the deduction of one egg. I happened to not have any extras laying around so I had to go out and buy one. Because of this it lends credence to the negative reviews I've read that this PSU may be a ticking time bomb waiting to die. It shows a lack of care for quality on the part of the manufacturer. So far it's been performing just fine but I'll be keeping an eye on it.

1 out of 5 eggsDead... dead...dead!

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: None I could find!! Shorted out as soon as I installed in my case. Took out my hard drives and put a horrible burnt smell in my house!!!

Cons: I had a raidmaxx power supply in my case from new. Came with the case and I knew it was of questionable quality. It was 500w and had it in a solid home rig. It lasted 1 1/2yrs. So...... I tried another raidmaxx power supply because of friend relies on them wholehearted. So I purchased this one and It was a nightmare!!!!! Fried as soon as it was plugged in! made a HORRIBLE arch and smelled awful! Needless to say never ever Raidmaxx again!! Anything but raidmaxx! I have a raidmaxx case and it is very nice. air flow is great and its easy to work with. Never again with the power supply's!!!!!

1 out of 5 eggsCauses System Reboot

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Looks cool with blue led on fan

Cons: Brand new build and completely unstable, kept rebooting the system. Must be varying the voltage output. I thought I had a bad motherboard, bad memory, or something like that, turns out I used a different power supply and everything is stable now.

5 out of 5 eggsRAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Reliable and above all else...It works. Looks nice.

Cons: While this neither affects the operation or aesthetics, this unit arrived with a noticeable dent in the case opposite the fan. Since this is out of site I did not make a big deal out of it. But I do think it should be mentioned.

Other Thoughts: Excellent choice for a Low to Mid-ranged system.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: I have had this running for a few months now, it is very, very quiet in my case, I honestly cant really hear it (I have done a bit of work to stop vibrations from it though). It supplies enough power to run mid grade GPU's in the $200 range, it is modular, and it is a great price

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: the blue LED's can be a bit annoying at times, but I am one of those people that really does not want LED's in my builds since I don't like my area lighting up various colors at night

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Modular, quiet, "stylish"

Cons: I have not encountered any yet

Other Thoughts: I plan on testing it further, but for the past 4 months, it has had no issue with all of my various hardware changes and upgrades. It is quiet, and I guess I am thankful that blue is a color that I don't mind.

1 out of 5 eggsNo where near max power

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Modular is the only up side.

Cons: The power supply states that it is 535 Watts. I connected a new video card to the machine for Litecoin mining. I did use the calculators to make sure I had the needed power. Started at 50% power, and it was fine. Went to 55% power, shutdown. I confirmed it was all connected to the right cables, it was. Tried 2 more times to get above 55%. nothing. Borrowed a corsair 550W (yes 20 watts bigger) and it was fine at 100% power. So the power rating on the side is not the actual rating.

Other Thoughts: Cheap and does not get anywhere the power it should.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We're sorry that you are not satisfied with your PSU.
This PSU does come with a 2 years manufacture warranty.
If you like to have a replacement, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.

4 out of 5 eggsSecond time buyer

This review is from: RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V SLI CrossFire 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Power Supply

Pros: Best priced psu for what you get. Second time buying one

Cons: Cord for CPU power is too short to fit behind for better cable management. There was a switch to turn off the blue led on the last model I had and it would be nice on this one since I have a green theme

Other Thoughts: Just really wish you could turn off the light. Minus one egg for cord being too short

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your feedback.
We will definitely let the production team know that the cords were a bit short and will improve on the product.
If you have any other concerns, please send a email to rma@raidmax.com for faster respond/service.
We appreciate you choosing Raidmax products.
