1 out of 5 eggsgarbage

Pros: it did its job but for only a limited time

Cons: ive owned this PSU for 4 months whn it decided to just shut down one day. I've contacted Raidmax and they would not take a refund or exchange for a new PSU. So knoing i couldn't get a new one i took it apart cause the warranty didn't matter anyway and there is absolutely nothing visibility wrong with it all the caps were good and nothing out of the ordinary.

Other Thoughts: i spent $50.00 on a 500 watt one. my advice is to save up a couple more dollars and get a corsair

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
This PSU you've purchased does come with a 2 years manufacture warranty.
If you have all the receipt or invoices, we should be able to exchange one for you without any problems.
Maybe there was a misunderstanding/mistake somewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

Pros: Works, plenty of cables, fan is extremely silent, powered my system without any hiccups.

FX 6300 3.5ghz
MSI 670 2gb PE
8gb 1600mhz
1tb HDD

Cons: Not enough power..? No real cons. If 500w is enough for your system, I would recommend this.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good PSU

Pros: Plenty of power for most builds.
Two 4-pin CPU power connectors
Plenty of SATA ports
Looks nice
Quiet

Cons: Would of really liked an LED

Read a review from a website about this cooler that suggested it was based on an older design and that it did not have complete and adequate protection, and said the efficiency was much lower than reported. However, I am not sure how serious to take the review, as it went on for a long period about how terrible they thought it looked, which I think it looks good and being unrelated to the performance so that made me question the review.

Other Thoughts: Like I said it may have some issues as read in another review. So far it is working fine. It is quiet, practically silent. I think the green colors on it look really good. I am not too worried about other issues, after the mail in rebate it comes down to $25 for me, making it a fairly cheap and replaceable power supply. If it goes well, then could be a good unit for a few years.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat little power supply

Pros: It works without any issues. It looks nice in my case, and I've had no problems since purchasing it. I got a 660 ti and it's able to handle that without issue. I had to use one of the duel molex to six pin adapters that came with my card though. Other than that it runs great

Cons: no cons to speak of.

Other Thoughts: Pick one up if you can find one

4 out of 5 eggsIts a good product

Pros: This has everything you need when it comes to having many SATA ports, and runs very quiet and has not given me any sings of wanting to die out

Cons: the cables are a little too short for my taste, but i made them work. and it only has ONE PCI-e cable so you cant plug in two graphics cards

Other Thoughts: its just a well rounded psu, but i think the price is just a little too high but oh well i got it in a bundle so i cant complain
