4 out of 5 eggsGood but 12V has always been low.

Comments: I've had this for about 16 months and the 12V rail has always been low running 11-11.2v. Everyday performance is fine, but it definately shows when overclocking. I am going to replace with a new 24pin ATX with removable connectors I think.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Power

Comments: I've had this supplie for about a year. In that time this power supplie has kept my Rails steady every second, even through a very bad surge. My computer was working just fine wile all electricity in my house went haywire for about 5 seconds. Every AC to DC transformer in my house was dead. Even a friends Antac Power supplie was fried along with a subwoofer. But my thermaltake was unfazed and has continued to keep the rails solid every second i’ve had it.

Comments: I got this for a somewhat dated P4 system after the old PSU crapped out. Power is much mroe stable, and I can overclock farther. The 12v rail is slightly low...

5 out of 5 eggsSolved some very serious problems

Comments: This power supply saved me thousands of dollars in downtime. I have this baby running in a PC that is a DNC relay for CNC milling centers. The utility companies transformer from our 3-phase service is older than I am. We get bad dips in voltage and this PC was very sensitive to it. As soon as I put in the active PFC supply you see nothing but solid voltage levels on all rails. Note to any PC builder, you never know the conditions so dont skimp on your power supply. Great delivery from Newegg as always.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: This is a very nice power supply. I've bought 3 of them, and they all work perfectly.

They come with a 20->24-pin connector, a molex->SATA connector, a heavy duty power cord, and another connector which I forget what it does.

Along with the standard connections on the power supply itself, it also comes with 2 SATA power connections.

Overall, a great power supply for the price.

Comments: I bought this PSU about 6 monthes ago for my first build. At first, I thought the PSU was rock solid, but then I decided to overclock. I have an NF7-S v2.0, Barton 2500+, and some Mushkin DDR 400, and w/ this PSU, the highest I can up the fsb and stay stable is 192. Even after upping the voltage quite a bit, it still wouldn't go higher. I thought my RAM was holding me back, but my friend insisted I borrow his OCZ PSU and see what I get. W/ the OCZ, I can get well above 200fsb. I think my max (fully stable running prime or folding@home) was 265. My advice: if you don't plan to OC, this would be a decent PSU. But, if you do, I highly suggest a more powerful 'QUALITY' PSU.

Comments: Okay here's my story... I ordered this PSU cuz my old one from a cheap case couldn't run 2 HDD's (I know, it's cheap). So I picked this up. I throw it in the case, hook everything up, and it works perfect. It runs my XP 2500+ Radeon 9200SE 80gb and 200gb with sound card just fine... Until it decides to stop working about 10 hours after i put it in. I have no idea why. It just pooped out. Already. I had to put my old one in to get the system up and running so i could contact newegg and see what's goin on. I must be one of the 1% that gets a defective unit or somethin :(... Anyways, i'll see what newegg can do to get me a replacement. Until then, I'll run off my stock PSU (I have to use my onboard video and sound without a second HDD till the thermaltake gets fixed)... It seemed like a top of the line unit, until it stopped working for no apperent reason. Very dissapointed.

Comments: I got this PSU shipped yesterday. Such a great power supply. It is very efficient as it does not generate much heat while powering a Barton @ 2.5GHz at full load. All voltages are stable and nearly perfect.
