5 out of 5 eggsThis baby is good enough for industrial use!

Pros: Rock solid power for 3+ years. This is a serious power supply and provides plenty of connectors to prove it. Runs quite and runs cool - temp problems? Make sure you are venting your case properly!

Cons: Neat cable management is needed since this unit comes with so many cable options and connectors. Do it right the first time and you won't have a mess to clean up later.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this supply for anyone who plans to upgrade the hardware on a regular basis as you will never need to upgrade your power supply again if you buy this one! Power to spare, every connector you could want, built to take a heavy load and not break a sweat....

5 out of 5 eggsWorking great after 3years

Pros: Works great, hasn't given me any problems after 3 years.

Cons: Having a modular power supply might of been nice, soo many wires just sitting there.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst impressions

Pros: Very striking design. Charcoal colour works well with either a silver or black case.
Giant 140mm fan means a very quiet PSU. I'm only using 3 of the modular connectors right now, which makes my case look very clean inside.

Cons: It's the warmest component in my system, but that's not a big deal. Probably no more than 50C.
Some of the voltages seem a hair low...

Other Thoughts: No problems getting it into my XCLIO Wind Tunnel case. The silicone rubber seal it came with eliminates noise and vibration.

5 out of 5 eggsAll the Connections You'll Ever Need

Pros: Lot's of connections! I have several SATA devices and this power supply is able to support all of them with out needing converter connectors. The cables are long and can reach to where I need them to go. The cables are nicely bound, so you don't have a mass tangle of wires.

Cons: Managing the mass amounts of cables can be annoying and takes up a lot of space in my case. The power supply also gets a little warmer than I would like.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent

Pros: Love the design of this product. I installed it in a Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BWA and I was suprised at how much room I had to work. The power output has been very stable over several months.

Cons: Routing the cables will require some planning.

Other Thoughts: Routing the cables so they are out of the way and allow good cooling will require some planning.

2 out of 5 eggsA Stain on Thermaltakes's Reputation

Pros: I love the design of this product - plenty of connections, lots of juice.

Cons: Unfortunately, the reliability record on this thing is not good. Started behaving squirrelly about 1 month after installed, completely shot after 2-1/2 months. I won't be buying another TT PSU anytime soon -- very disappointed.

Other Thoughts: Replaced with a 550W from a different manufacturer.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Good power supply, plenty of power for expansion. It's not very noisy, I can't hear it over the cpu fan or gpu fan. I'm sorry that the guy below me had a bad time with it. That's why you stick with the same vendor, if there's a problem with a batch you won't get caught by it.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Buy this one!

1 out of 5 eggsWorst P/S in the world

Pros: Putting it in and taking it out is good exercise for your hands.

Cons: They burn up - I've bought 2 of these models, one from new egg, the other from a different company. One burnt up in 2 seconds, the other lasted 4 hours. I put my old Rosewill 550 Watt back in to make sure I didn't have other problems.

Other Thoughts: This is a highly overrated, overpriced model. Stay clear of it. Buy a Sxxxonic, or even a Rxxxwill will atleast work.
