Putting out 750 Watts of continuous power, the Thermaltake Toughpower W0116RU 750W Power Supply justifies its name. This power supply offers serious future-proofing, being ATI, Cross-Fire, and Dual Core CPU ready. The four +12V rails allow combined 60A loading of and make it ideal for a high-end gaming systems. ATX 12V 2.2 and EPS 12V compliance ensures utmost efficiency and saves more power than its peers.
Active PFC reduces power consumption wherever possible. Modularized Cable Management helps you organize cables and do away with unnecessary clutter. This streamlines the system and improves airflow within. The 140 mm ball-bearing fan keeps the Toughpower 750W "super-cool". Mirror Effect Housing further augments cooling by radiating most of the heat away from the case.
An independent voltage circuit ensures stable output even during peak loads. Output stability is further assured by careful voltage regulation (+/- 3%). With advanced industrial grade protection circuitry, this PSU provides significant protection from over-currents, over-voltages, and short-circuits. MTBF of 120,000+ hours guarantees that the Toughpower 750W will last longer than you will.

great psu
- Pros: great power supply, easy to install in A n t e c 900 case, perfect fit. nice anti vibration gasket included. lots of cables. easy access to plugs. powered right up without any problems. VERY quiet
- Cons: none
Well Build and lot of power where needed
- Pros: Very well constructed ,cables are sleved nicely, nice long cables to fit any case.Larger fan for better cooling,Three independent rails ,and not two with a step-down off the 12v rail to make the 5v rail,Case is is only about half a inch longer then standard so it is not to over sized like some of them with this much power
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: I wish they would list the correct power for the 12v rails ,It puts out a combine of 60 amps on the 12v rails ,so you have plenty of power for your 12v rails plus it puts out the rated power at 50c and not 25c like some companies rate their's.

Only one gripe
- Pros: Very smooth current
Well-designed box Quiet fan Excellent cable management
- Cons: Cables: There are two SATA and two PCIE cables provided (including one 8-pin PCIE, which is nice). Problem is, I didn't need any PCIE cables since I only have one graphics card, and it draws from the pins, and the SATA cables weren't quite long enough between connectors to let me install the two DVDs up high and the SSD in the middle of the second drive rack down low on the front of the case. I had to move the SSD up one spot in the front side drive rack. I know it's probably nitpicking, but an extra inch between connectors, or an extra SATA cable, would have been nice.
- Other Thoughts: Phenom II x4 955
Gigabyte GA-790XTA -UD4 mobo Gigabyte GT 240 video 8 GB G.Skill RipJaws 1600 DDR3 3 - 640 GB WD Caviar HDDs 1 - 40GB Kingston SSD 2 - HP 1260i DVDs Kubuntu server + LinuxMint + Sabayon + XP Pro
- Pros: Works and looks awsome! If you like good strong burly cables this is perfect. If you like smaller ones that are easier to hide you might try something else.
- Cons: none yet
- Pros: Whisper quiet. Modular.
- Cons: Stiff, inflexible cables.
- Other Thoughts: I've never had such a quiet PSU. I cannot hear it over my other fans, even with my GPU fan turned way down, which is the only one in my system rated over 20dBA. This was the most important factor for me in building the quietest system possible, while still handling gaming, video encoding, etc.
There are plenty of modular power connectors, but the cabling is stiff and difficult to maneuver at the ends near the connectors. It's a tight fit on the end of my video card, and my HDDs are oriented in bays with the connections facing the side panel. By the time I stretch the SATA power cables down the HDDs bays, the connectors are right up against the side of my case.
Connectors that would allow for perpendicular, 90-degree, F-type installations would be best.
