4 out of 5 eggsQuiet Power

Pros: Very quiet, which is why I bought it. Much nicer than OEM.

Cons: Cables are very long - almost TOO long (1 egg). Unnecessary ones should be removable.

Other Thoughts: All electronics and appliances should have advertised noise ratings. This is one of the features I consider very important. Very hard to watch a movie at night with a blender screaming in the case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little PSU

Pros: Very durable, runs quiet, exhausts heat nicely and has plenty of cables.

Cons: Plenty of cables can be good and bad, depending if you use them all. I have only used two of the peripherals, two SATA connectors and had to tuck the rest of them beneath my DVD drive. If you're planning on having a slew of HDDs and opticals drives, and maybe a floppy or two (gasp! do people still use those??) then you'll have little issues with cable management. Otherwise... prepare to tuck!

Other Thoughts: Mine's been running for nearly 3 years now and I'm pretty sure it's going to outlive the machine it is powering...

5 out of 5 eggsGood. Got my rebate!

Pros: Hasn't died.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used this PSU for someone else's build so I don't have much to say other than it's still working. I even got the rebate.

5 out of 5 eggsNice unit

Pros: Very high quality fan, and the wires were bundled nicely.

Cons: Wire bundles are a little stiff for routing and tucking away.

Other Thoughts: I recently upgraded my ancient Athlon 2800+ system with a Radeon graphics card. and the cheapo PSU was just shutting the system down whenever I tried to run a game or fullscreen video. It's rock solid stable after installing this unit.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: Plenty of connectors, that's for darn right sure.

Cons: SATA Power cable could be a bit longer. I'm powering two HDDs and an optical drive, and it -just- reaches all three (I couldn't put the optical drive at the top like I would have liked because I couldn't reach all three that way).

Other Thoughts: Powering 4 case fans, 2 HDDs, 1 optical drive, ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO MOBO, AMD Phenom II X4 955 CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsRebates Stink

Pros: Very Quite, plenty of connectors, and shielded with black mesh.

Cons: The shielding makes the cables stiff.

Other Thoughts: My rebate was denied because I bought this unit a day before the program started, which I think is unfair since the marking Newegg stated one price and that is what I expected.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The price after rebate was great. Black like the inside on my Antec 900 2.

Cons: The fan stopped shortly before the unit stopped. Had unit less than 2 months, installed use for only 10 days. Still waiting on refurbished replacement.

Other Thoughts: As stated above, the replacement is supposedly a refurbished one. I am new to building so this was shocking. I hope the one I'm getting works!!!! When I typed in "most reliable power supply" Thermaltake was the number 1 hit.
