Bring your system to life with the Toughpower TX W0229RU power supply. It complies with ATX 12V v.2.3 standard and is ATI CrossFire certified. It also works with the latest quad PCI-Express and Multi Core CPU configurations, and is ready to deliver 750 watts of power where you want it – safely and reliably.

The single 12V rails will provide 60A – enough to satisfy most power needs. Active PFC (power form correction) maximizes power efficiency saving energy – and money on the power bill. Industrial-grade protections built into the power supply include defenses against over current, short-circuit, over voltage and no-load operating.

The +12V output circuit provides stable voltage to your system, including multiple PCI Express expansion cards. Modularized cable management lets you connect only the cables you need to reduce the amount of clutter, improving airflow. All cables for hooking up and powering your components are included and are sleeved in black nylon mesh for a clean look. A large, whisper-quiet 14cm ball bearing 1900RPM cooling fan keeps the power supply cool and operating at peak performance.

2 out of 5 eggsWould be nice, if it worked

Pros: Beautiful packaging, modular, single rail, powerful, quiet, status LEDs.

Cons: Worked for about 30 min with minimal load before failing. It is possible that this is just my luck, however it does not appear that I'm alone.

Cables are a bit stiff.

Other Thoughts: A noise dampening silicon sleeve that comes with it makes it a harder to fit in tight cases. The status LEDs on this unit are on the left side if you look from the main power switch with the fan facing up. This makes them hidden if you mount it at the bottom of your case.

I gave two eggs for great presentation and potential. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a replacement for me to evaluate it better.

Pros: Seemed nice...... fan ran a little after pc was turned off to further cool the power supply after running .........

Cons: Died after a month !!!!!!!!!!

Manufacturer Response:

This PSU is with "FanDelayCool" function on it. The switch of delay function is next to the AC input.

5 out of 5 eggsmodular rules!!

Pros: modular;modular;modular

Cons: none at the moment

Other Thoughts: this is the way EVERY power should be made. consumers should refuse to buy any that are not modular. it gets rid of the ridiculous rats nest of junk that has to be squeezed into weird places.

5 out of 5 eggsto the last review

Pros: works awsome. Modular cables are a must for a clean looking case. 80+ certified. Seems to run pretty cool. Free shipping and rebate.

Cons: Wasn't free

Other Thoughts: To the reviewer below this has a 5 YEAR warranty. Heat is the death of power supplies a fan delay seems like it should keep the power supply alive forever. Don't skimp on the power supply.

1 out of 5 eggsmuch Less than stellar performance

Pros: I wanted a solution that would give performance was ready to deliver 750 watts of power where you want it – safely and reliably for a few years to come - at LEAST.

Cons: What did I get?
This supply went into a reboot loop every 20-30 just after 6 months of use. It decided to loose its stability on a low budget computer system. I replaced it with a backup supply and the issue was quickly resolved. EXCEPT the fact that this supply had a record SHORT life span, Totally unacceptable.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased many different components from this manufacturer to build my home PC boxes with but this
model of supply is a major disappointment for the end user.
I have an RMA in process and will report back the results from this experience.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Modular, lots of accessory cables, velcro cable ties, polyester velcro bag to keep extra cables,

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This power supply has been fantastic. I spent a good hour on cable management and with this modular power supply it made a huge difference. All my temps dropped by 5C because of the improved airflow. The included cable ties were very nice, durable, and strong. This is an upgrade from a 500w CM PSU. TT is a reliable brand and this product is a fine example of that.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Beautiful packaging, high quality build, status indicator leds, modular, quiet, powerful.

Cons: Had a little trouble installing it into my old Lian Li PC-60 case. The led lights are slightly raised, which made it a tight squeeze. Not sure if this is an issue for new cases.

Other Thoughts: Everything I wanted in a PSU at a great price. Includes a very innovative feature that keeps the PSU fan running for about a minute after you power down to help with the cooling process.

5 out of 5 eggsTHERMALTAKE XT 750

Pros: I have owned this just about one month and have only first look reactions but they are all excellent from the time I got the package till I buttoned the case back up. It was all a very pleasurable experience; the dreaded REBATE was also a pleasantly expedited event as well. I just got an email telling me the debit card type return is in the mail for only a couple of bucks for the preferred service...well worth it and since it is rebate, i chose to get a couple less than the first offer of $25 since it is all gravy. The psu is worth the full price, no doubt in my mind. I came from a great silent and powerful unit that I simply out grew. this Toughpower is always cool though there is a super silent fan Ihad to look to see spin, modular workable cables well marked and give off no noise. they come in a nice bag in a box you have to see to believe. Good solid build and it has a cool down option on the switch which i have yet to consider needing since it is never taxed yet.Great buy so far

Cons: Only one con was there was a rather sharp corner on the facing side what I didnt expect, it wouldnt rate a deduction but it should have been picked up since there was so much attention to detail everywhere else. that is really picking nits to find that. I realize the real evaluation of something such as a PSU comes over time but the intial installation , ect also counts and it was all great.

Other Thoughts: The way this was packed was near opulent the crowning touch was the nice velcro bag for holding the cables. there were plenty , they were long enough and pliable enough to be able to get out of the way when there was some extra length. I have a large mid tower but with the bottom mount the gpu was right there but they moved totally out of the way and took a oblique angle bend i did not expect with ease. they are colored so they kind of blend into the background and all well marked. I got it at a steal with no shipping discount , rebate card. I am pleasantly surprised with the rapid response even though it cost a couple of bucks, so what? a $22 rebate or $25 it is all rebate the card works anywhere , back at NewEgg I am quite sure.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfection

Pros: Modular, excellent price for the quality, very quiet, efficient, runs cooler, well-built, and just all around the best PSU i've ever owned or even considered purchasing.

Cons: none. buy this.

Other Thoughts: if you care about the PSU system monitoring LEDs, then you'll want to mount this PSU in the bottom of your case. if mounted in the top, they are hidden from view.
