The Thermaltake Toughpower TP-1350M is a high-end power supply unit designed to perform at a high efficiency rate, ideal for advanced power users who demand greater cooling and higher power for their systems. The Active Power Factor Corrector (Active PFC) helps the unit to deliver a stable 1350 Watts of continuous output with up to 91% efficiency. Robust and dedicated dual +12V rails(60A for 12V1 & 12V2) design enhances power distribution and provide superior performance for your PC.

The Toughpower TP-1350M is compatible with dual core CPU, quad core CPU, NVIDIA SLI, Quad SLI and ATI CrossFire technologies, with three 6-pin and three 8-pin (downward compatible with 6-pin PCI-E connectors) PCI-E connectors that allow connectivity to multiple graphic cards. Cooling is further boosted with the 14 cm dual ball bearing fan that reduces hot spots, offers excellent heat dissipation, and is extremely silent.

In addition, the Toughpower TP-1350M utilizes industrial grade components with Independent Voltage Circuits for stable and unflappable output, and protection against potential voltage surges. Reliability is ensured with the MTBF of more than 120,000 hours, and it's virtually immune to over voltage, over current, and potential short-circuits.

1 out of 5 eggsIssues after only 2 months

Pros: Thermaltake. Was stable while it lasted.

Cons: Toast after 2 months.

Other Thoughts: My old Thermaltake 700W has been rock-solid for years. Different story here. Out of the blue, PC started shutting down under load...Brand new build(ASUS RIVBE, Corsair Dominator, ASUS GTX 770, blah, blah, blah). Bummed that I have to go without my rig for a while I get an RMA sorted out. What can you say...components fail....maybe I just got a lemon. Or, maybe I need to pony up for a Platinum PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsWorthy of flagship status.

Pros: Nicely packaged. The PSU ships inside a velvet "like" bag. Modular cables also come in a separate storage bag, all of which are mesh wrapped very nicely. All the connectors seem very solid, even the molex seem A-1 Quality.
Includes a few cable wraps that may or may not be useful for you.
External finish very nice.
BIOS + HWmonitor reports rock solid voltages.
Runs quiet.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I wanted a premium PSU, that is what I paid for, and that is what it appears I have received. I have had a TP-1000 for 3+ years powering 2 8800 ultras & 4 10k drives plus a whole gaggle of fans. It has been solid. Stayed with what I know.

The only things I would see added is a fan only header on each rail. And maybe include a few single device cables for cleaner installs.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed to Power On

Pros: Lots or peripherals - great for custom builds

Cons: ... Neglected to actually power on...

Other Thoughts: Inspite of that I'll likely replace it with another just like it... and chalk it up to bad luck.

5 out of 5 eggsWhy No Reviews?!?!

Pros: Ok, this powers i7 OC'd to 4.2ghz. Tri sli 580s. 5 HDDs, about to add a watercooling setup. It's flat out awesome. Best capacitors in any PSU on the market, hands down.

Cons: Um, did not make my electricity bill go down..

Other Thoughts: Surprised to not see any reviews on this item. It has a premium price, but it is premium quality. All I hear is Corsair this and that, great for the price...But if you want quality, Thermaltake.
