5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Modular, nice design, works well, quiet.

Cons: Need to use included screws in order to mount in case (standard case screws too short) which is not immediately apparent without looking through all included cable packaging.

5 out of 5 eggsWill Never Need to Upgrade

Pros: Awesome PSU. Can power anything. No complaints. Easy to install. It sees daily, constant use, and has never caused me any problems at all. I love that it is modular. This was the first modular PSU I have ever worked with and now I will never buy a non-modular PSU again. Comes with a sturdy bag to store the unused power cables.

Cons: Pricey for a PSU, but worth it when you need the best.

Other Thoughts: The build it powers:

5 out of 5 eggsFire and forget

Pros: This unit installs easily, provides ample power, and provides a plethora a clean cable install options which I used with my Cooler Master Cosmos II case with eight HDDs and multiple fans. It works great and comes with all the extras (like gap gaskets) that show what a quality product it is.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Buy it unless you need something bigger. It is beautiful, clean, and reliable.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet dreams

Pros: Ok, I have to say, as a long time lover of Thermaltake products. When I recived this box, I was like cool, and sweet. Then I opened it. omFRIGGINgod, the setup, the way it was displayed as if it really was gold. These guys did a great job and marketing and displaying this product. First rate. And in the end, this thing is QUIET!!! Runs very cool.

Cons: Main cables or not modular.

Other Thoughts: Take note people and other MFG's, they know how to pack a power supply and show it off. You all need to do this! I am serious when I say I was impressed and WOWED!

5 out of 5 eggsTough it is!

Pros: Very strong while being very quiet. I installed this into my case to replace the Older Toughpower power supply that I have had since maybe 2006-2007...that was still running strong (750watt). Cables are stiff...which is a good thing for the wiring to stay intact longer.

Cons: Not fully modular...but I wont complain about that since my previous Toughpower was so strong...I am hoping that it will stay the same with this. Red light emits when power is on (located on the power switch to power supply). Power cable is not as long as the one that I had been using.

Other Thoughts: They should make a fully modular next time around....and rid the red led on the power switch on the back. I use this for an htpc and gaming rig and do not want excessive light. Give a longer power cable, while not very short....it is at a minimum of a foot shorter than the one I had in the past for plugging into a protected power strip.

5 out of 5 eggsThermaltake Toughpower Grand TPG-1050W

Pros: Works Great.

Cons: Cables are very thick & bulky. Not sure if thats a con or not? They are heavy duty, but it takes a little elbow grease to get them placed where you want them.

Other Thoughts: seems very solid.
