5 out of 5 eggsGrand 1200

Pros: Great looking seems to be built solid and it is compact. Had it for 4 months now and hasn't had any problems. I used it in an SLI setup and now I use it to power my EVGA 670 4g FTW+ the PSu has more then enough power to go around.

Cons: The only con I have is the mounting holes don't line up with the holes on my CoolMaster Half X you can only line up two of the screws on one side and put the other two screws in at a little bit of an angle

Other Thoughts: None other then the mounting holes the PSU is a great buy.

4 out of 5 eggsPlenty of Clean Watts

Pros: I got this PSU to run my SLI GTX 680 4Gb cards on my Asus Rampage IV Extreme board. I wanted to get overkill for my system because I prefer to upgrade my PSU as infrequently as possible and with the 7 year warranty, I think I found a keeper. Right now this PSU is powering my 3930k @ 4.25Ghz, my SLI 680s, two 1TB HDDs, my Samsung 840 pro 256 MB SSD, 16Gb of Corsair Dominator-GT @ 2333Mhz, as well as my custom water cooling loop with blocks on the VGAs and CPU. As I said, this PSU gives me more than enough power for that.

Cons: Not totally modular, but I knew that going in so I wasn't surprised or anything. Just keep that in mind if that is what you're looking for.

Other Thoughts: I'm toying with the idea of sleeving all the cable myself, but the connectors on the modular cables are all pass through style and I don't know if I want to fight with that.

5 out of 5 eggsSaves eloectricity.

Pros: Looks good and go's with my Level 19 case. great price, Quiet. Drop my power usage by 300W heavy load and 150W idle.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I paid less for this unit then I did for my 1000W Toughpower 5 years ago and am now using it in my backup game machine. I expect this new 1200W to last just as long as 1000W with no problems. I have thermaltake PSU's in all my machines some as old as 7 years and still going.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far it's been very stable.

Pros: 1200 Watts. Convenient modular design. Rubber vibration dampers (rubber feet). Heavy duty ball-bearing fan.

Most important: I've had it since January and so far it's been stable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Before you buy this, be sure you understand the whole "sine wave" issue and make sure your existing UPS can support this power supply. Older UPSs will not sent the right signature and this PSU might cut power. If your UPS is very old, you will need to budget a few hundred dollars more for a new UPS!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Power

Pros: This is for a future build but using it now; it has the power I need for tri-sli and a liquid cooled system. Dual rails and 80 plus gold certified. Fans are tremendously quiet and pulls air from the bottom of my HAF 932 keeping it cool.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsQuality product worth the money!

Pros: This thing is a beast built with quality in mind and not to mention the 7 year warranty. Very quiet and runs nice and cool under a load.
I'm trusting this thing to overclock my AMD FX 8350 cpu to 5.0 GHz!!!
No hiccups yet. ☺☻☺☻

Cons: None!

Very good product Themaltake, thanks!

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this power supply knowing that this thing will power the next generation of video cards and cpus with ease.

To other people who bought this item and wonder why the fan runs after the power is shut off, they clearly didn't READ the directions!!!
It's to prolong the life of the unit by cooling it an extra 30 sec to a min after you shut down your computer. It shuts off in time if you haven't noticed.

5 out of 5 eggsModular & Relatively Quiet!

Pros: - Sleek, visually appealing design
- Relatively quiet (seen quieter - but this is the best at this price point that I've seen)
- Very sturdy, could use it as the foundation for your house ...
- Mostly Modular (this was important for me - hate the clutter, and wanted to maximize airflow; nearly everything is modular)
- Warranty is great, Gold-Rated product.

Cons: - Not quite powerful enough to jump my car engine ...

Other Thoughts: All in all, love the PSU. I've used a variety of brands, and Thermaltake doesn't disappoint with this product. Bit of a higher price point than some other options - but you get what you pay for.

Used for build: Sabertooth Z77 TUF w/ i7-3770k OC'ed, 3x GTX670 SLI, 32GB RAM, SSD/HDD
