Equipped with two 2.5" & 3.5" compatible drive slots, this docking station can conveniently take two drives at a time and is able to read & write 2 hard drives simultaneously. Hot-swap support means you can exchange multiple hard drives rapidly, without disconnecting the station or reboot your computer. A USB 2.0 port and an eSATA 3.0Gbps connector ensure fast data transfer, as well as great compatibility with various systems.

Regmar 2/15/2013 8:06:13 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 5/5	Rating: 1/5Drives Continuously Need Reformatting Pros: It's a toaster. It's cheap. Cons: Unreliable. Flimsy. You have to reformat the drives every couple days of use. Other Thoughts: I've had these for about two years. I bought ten 2TB WD drives to use as backups, and I got this toaster, so I could rotate them easily. I leave the drives in the toaster for about a month, running backups daily, then I rotate them out with another set. I use Robocopy to run the backups. Everything worked for about a month, then first one drive then another stopped responding, and the system reported they needed to be reformatted. I did so (Ever reformat a 2TB Drive? Long process.) I re-ran the backups. and started the schedule running again. About 2 days later they went down again. I tried using eSata AND USB, but it happened with both. I called Thermaltake, and they said this had never happened before, and they sent me another toaster. The problems persisted with this toaster too upon which I simply gave up after trying for over two months to fix. I recommend against buying this product. FixYourLAN 11/3/2012 2:54:42 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5Junk Update Pros: None Cons: Newegg did replace the first one with another one, but the replacement somehow corrupted my 1tb drive that I had been using in the single drive unit from same mfg. I even bought a new controller that the mfg recommended with "Port Multipliers"! Now its totally dead with no lights, along with my drive! The old single drive unit still working fine with other drives! Other Thoughts: Its not worth another 10 bucks to ship back to Newegg or Thermaltake, in the garbage can it will go, along with the drive it corrupted that is now so bad the bios wont read the model anymore even with a regular sata port and cable! Cons: esata hangs my system on boot, does not show up in bios, not even 1 drive much less 2! I don't want to use USB, its too slow, only one esata port not 2! Its a referb and newegg wont take it back for refund or exchange, don't buy this unit! I have a 1 drive unit by same mfg and it had been working with my system drive in it on esate for years!
