This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: worked. great and had no issues for around 4 months...

Cons: when it ran, it was loud, and it lasted only 4 months before it broke, luckily it didn't cause any damage to my other components.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsRebate-less

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Works OK

Cons: Runs a little warm in my system. I purchased this PS on 3/31/14. It had a rebate offer then. I went on line but could not complete the rebate because I had no invoice number at that moment. When the PS arrives I go back to fill in the rebate and now it has changed to be effective from 4/1 thru 4/4. I'm not able to apply for the rebate.

Just seems to me to be misleading.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We at Thermaltake apologize about any miscommunication. Please contact Customer Service immediately with any rebate issues as rebates are time sensitive.

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I downgraded this item in an earlier review because my rebate never arrived. I questioned Thermaltake about this, and although I seemed to get a stock reply, my rebate card arrived shortly afterwards. However, this took three months - too long, in my opinion.

Cons: Abundance of long cables makes routing difficult.
Rebate took three months.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed to get rebate

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Works without problems

Cons: Abundance of cables difficult to store/route.
Never received m rebare, although it was approved. I wrote them - their automated response said it was approved, but no way to follow up further since I never received it. (now over 3 months).

Other Thoughts: Cheap, but should have gotten a modular unit.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat PSU.

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: this thing is great, 700 watts and it powers my CPU 8120 overclocked to 4.2 ghz. It powers my SLI video cards 760 FTW 4gb Overclocked. It also powers two SSDs, One regular HD, 6 fans, and a bluray drive. Also have my ipad charging as well as iphone and razor blackwidow keyboard with maddcatz rat7 mouse. This thing still has more juice to pump out. Single 12v rail is great.

Cons: only possible con I can give this which isnt even warranted is that the cables were not modular. But at this price point who could expect that. there are power supplies more powerful and more expensive that cant handle SLI because of the multiple 12v rails.

Other Thoughts: I have heard that TR2 thermaltake supplies actually are more like 750 watt PSUs from soneone on here who answered a question a while ago. This thing is a beast and has no problem powering my whole gaming system with two 760 4gb each SLI.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Quiet, well ventilated power supply that produces more than enough power for the computer. Although the rig only needs about 500-600 watts now, there is some room for expansion.

Cons: Not all wires are loomed, so a bunch of wire ties are necessary to keep wiring organized.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice to see wire loom at least included in the package, but even without it this power supply does a great job of supplying power steadily.

5 out of 5 eggsThermaltake Power

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Lots of power in a small box. I prefer modular but even without this is a very easy to install power supply in the right case.

Cons: None I have found.

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Works for me with no issues. I plugged everything in and it works great. Plenty of Wattage to run everything I use it for.

Cons: It isn't modulized, but not a big deal.

1 out of 5 eggsMad but Customer Service Made Right

This review is from: Thermaltake TR2 TR-700 700W ATX 12V V2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Didn't catch fire. One egg for product but 4 eggs for Newegg

Cons: DEAD ON ARRIVAL. I was upset at the prospect of paying to send back a broken item. Did the customer service chat which is great as no holding on phones etc. Sending me a return label. I understand things happen in manufacturing but they made things right and I'm happy
