1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Did the job for about 2 months.

Cons: After less than 3 months of casual use: the PSU died & killed my MOBO...
Thermaltake lost me & my family as a clients!
Don't even know if it's worth sending the PSU for replacement & blow up a second build...

5 out of 5 eggsWorking well so far!

Pros: Has enough power to push two AMD Radeon 7970's.
Plenty of power connections for devices.

Cons: No modular cabling.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this in my Bitcoin mining rig to push two AMD Radeon 7970's with a AMD Sempron 145 processor and 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM. It's been running like a champ for about a week now 24/7 and no issues.

2 out of 5 eggsInefficient

Pros: Works okay when low load.

Cons: On high load necessary for crossfire, hard disks, motherboard, CPU running, it gets crazy inefficient around the 600W range and starts pulling 100W more just because of its inefficiency. Get a gold rated power supply of at least 800W if you plan to SLI/CrossFire.

Other Thoughts: I went through 3 of these things thinking they were lemons, but they all died on 550W load.

4 out of 5 eggsSweet deal!

Pros: 700 Watts for under $40 with rebate? What a deal! Read a great review of this PSU on Tom's Hardware and that sealed the deal! Leads are plenty long and I have a large case so they were easy to manage. IBuypower claims the 400 Watt PSU that comes with the gaming machine I bought was adequate, but I'm pushing a core i5 and a decent GPU and feel way more comfortable with the 700 watts on a single rail!

Cons: At first I thought there was no 4 pin adapter for the mobo, but after reading a few reviews, I found the 8 pin adapter actually separated to produce two 4 pin adapters, so this PSU is great for most any mobo!

Other Thoughts: If you're still not convinced, look up the review of this PSU on Tom's Hardware site. Very glowing review!

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Lots of connectors, 52 amps on a single 12V rail. This is great for my Z77 i7 PC.

Cons: Rebate, rebate, rebate. Just lower the price, and save everyone a lot of time and drama.

Other Thoughts: This PSU was a replacement for my old Enermax 600 watt Noisetaker II. It's just a bit long in the tooth.

When I disconnected the old unit and installed the new one, nothing happened when I hit the power button. I thought the TR2 was DOA, but the motherboard's LEDs were lit.

In frustration, I installed the PSU in my old Core 2 Duo PC; to see if my Z77 was the problem. It booted on the old machine.

I re-installed the TR2 in the Z77, and it booted this time (did it need a jump start, like an old Camaro?) It worked fine after that.
