5 out of 5 eggsSmart series

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: First two things I noticed was build quality and wires. I'm not a fan of modular, Wires tend to get loose and wear to the point they don't stay in the PSU side socket over time. This PSU has enough wires for Crossfire/SLI plus much more. Wires are very flexible being flat so they are very easy to manage during cabling. So far it has worked flawlessly since first boot. I bought two one for me and one for my son, both work great so far. PSU came with mounting bracket Braise, wire ties, screws and power cord. Thermaltake did a good job packaging. The Box was damaged from shipping but the product was perfectly in tact.

Cons: None to mention, time will tell, usually if an electronic product lasts over 30 days it's pretty much good.

Other Thoughts: If you like modular cases, you probably won't like this because of the many wires, but if you are an old school builder like me you'll love the length and many wire options. Wires are flat and very flexible.

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: - Flat cables.
- Plenty of power.
- Great price.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: wish it was modular or at least semi mod, but if you can cable manage it isn't a big deal.

1 out of 5 eggsNO

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Lots of quality parts and functions

Cons: Described as 20 + 4. But, IN MY OPINION, cutting the +4 cleanly so that the separate parts are usable is unreasonably difficult, perhaps almost impossible. I endured the additional cost for an adapter.

I

Other Thoughts: I have purchased 20+4 in the past that were easy to separate. I'll not purchase another of this brand.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
NewEgg and our specifications page show this unit have one 24-pin connector.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT product

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: A Great psu with lots of cords, very reliable, this is the 3rd thermaltake psu i bought simply because they make great power supplys, the reason i kept buying them was to upgrade, ive never actually had a problem with the power supply itself, if your going to bash on thermal take for making a bad psu your wrong i bet you 9 times out 10 its because you bought a powersupply that didnt have enough watts to support your specs and thats your own fault, not there's.

Cons: only con is it has a lot of extra cords, so cable management with this specific powersupply was a little bit difficult, but thats not a big deal at all and shoulndt cause any problems for any builds.

Other Thoughts: sorry for anything misspelled i don't want to fix it

2 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: It worked for a short time

Cons: It only worked for 6 months before it became useless. completely cranked out and stopped functioning.

Other Thoughts: A waste of money better to invest into solid psu that will last and provide no problems

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I was looking for a cpu that can help me with good Gaming Quality and Homework, i didn't look for 4690k because i dont like the overcloak.

Cons: fan its noisy at times but i used it for a week before installing Corsair Hydro Series H75 that eliminate noise and do an awesome work with cpu temperature

5 out of 5 eggsThermaltake is a Good Buy

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Like most PS from Thermaltake, I haven't had any issues out of this one.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The only issues I ever had out of Thermaltake was with their modular PS. Otherwise a solid company.

5 out of 5 eggsThermaltake SP-750m

This review is from: Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX 12V 2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Semi-Modular
Reliable
Shielded Cables
Looks Good

Cons: Semi-Modular: I put this PSU in a Mid Size ATX case and i have to stretch the CPU Power cable over the CPU fan and the RAM for it to fit, that is not the manufacturer's fault though.
Other than that the PSU has been running strong for 1 year and 2 months of pretty hard gaming sessions so i would definitely buy another one

Other Thoughts: Other than the CPU cable being short I love this PSU it has held up for a good while and I hope for a good while longer, hope this helps!
