5 out of 5 eggs4 years

Pros: Reasonable
Lasted 4 years
Sang me to sleep

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I always had the fan set to 'high'.

I started hearing a high pitched sound last week and decided to... you know. It will be exactly 4 years since we met next month

It should be noted that newegg's psu recommender recommended 493w recommends my system a 4

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful PSU

Pros: I have now purchased two of this excellent psu for building new comps. It looks very professional and runs quiet. The low-med-hi-auto setting switch lets you choose the cooling/noise level you wish. Runs on auto setting fine for me.

Cons: None I have found.

Other Thoughts: I will buy more of these in the future.

Cons: Only worked as intended for a few months

Other Thoughts: This was the first and last CoolMax PS I will buy.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet, Dependable and reasonably priced

Pros: Great design, solid. Good weight to it. Delivers steady power and actually improved my system's stability.

Highly recommended product.

Cons: When the fan is on full speed, the bearings seem to vibrate. It can be annoying. A workaround would be to use the medium or low settings.

On my system, low didn't seem to cool enough.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid product, low price

Pros: Clean power that's well within voltage safety ranges, long cables, almost silent operation on low speed, and if I crank it up to high it vents my case amazingly well...
Also it looks slick

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I don't trust the 'auto' setting on it's lil switch knob. No actual problems, but it just seems like more that could go wrong.
I've got one of these in my 'server' system, and I drop one in pretty much every customer box I build. 100% satisfaction on PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: it work as expected, fan control, doesn't look cheap or feel cheap,

Cons: At first, it spread this new smell. sort of like the smell of new book only a bit stronger. The smell goes away later after a week or two. I smell it while i sit on my desk.

Other Thoughts: cost me a total of $50. equilibrium price.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Absolutely silent, powerfull, long quality cables, lots of connectors, not expensive

Cons: non so far

Other Thoughts: I bought the Coolmax to replace the original power supply for Dell Dimension E510. The original was noisy and not powerfull enough (just 305W), finally burnt. I have an impression that my mutimedia apps are running faster now - easy explainable with CPU and video/audio cards finally having a proper voltage on them.
