Did the job and was easy to install. Cons: Lacks appropriate amount of SATA power connections No converter/adapter provided Other Thoughts: Looking for a cheap mid watt PSU this is worth a shot. Was apparently enough power to get my basic computer to work with additional video card. For this kind of money, it's a win if it works at all. Cons: Just 2 SATA power connections, but that was all I needed for this machine. I was as scared as everybody else by the reviews about overheating, but at least so far, everything is running perfectly cool. Granted, I don't need 500w. Probably less than 300, to be perfectly honest, though the video card said minimum 350. So, I'm not taxing this thing much. Thankfully I noticed the smell and acted in time. Other Thoughts: Brought this in november of 2009, yes 2009. It worked for a couple of months till the plastic melted.
