1 out of 5 eggsPlastic melted

Pros: High Wattage

Cons: The black plastic near the power supply plug pins melted. Thankfully I noticed the smell and acted in time.

Other Thoughts: Brought this in november of 2009, yes 2009. It worked for a couple of months till the plastic melted.

I would not recommend getting this.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Affordable and Great Value

Pros: Great Value and Quality, these installed in a system build and had no problems from the start. Quiet fan keeps the PSU cool without being overly distracting when on. Good cable length for mATX system build and is a good cost effective solution to power your new build. The two 12V rails keeps your power nice and steady for other peripherals without taking from the CPU and other critical systems.

Cons: As an reminder this PSU is for standard economy builds and wasn't meant for high end gaming machines. It does have the standard connectors but does lack the PCIe power adapters for SLI and or external Video cards requiring external power sources.

Other Thoughts: A quick note, if memory serves this PSU doesn't have the 8 pin 2nd Gen intel processor power connector for CPU. So I believe this is not compatible for an intel 2nd gen system setup.

3 out of 5 eggsLOUD... but works.

Pros: It's been working for 18 months.
Cheap.

Cons: LOUD. By far the loudest thing in my case.
1 SATA connector.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for an old Antec SmartPower that died after 4 years. This has been running 18 months without a problem.

The decibel level of the fan is really getting to me - I mean, this thing is really loud! Then again, it was 20 bucks. If you don't have to power that many components, this works for a basic build.

2 out of 5 eggsToo quiet?

Pros: Very quiet, nice power out put; running a phenom ii x4 965 w/ radeon hd 6770 on it with no power problems.

Cons: Too quiet, and to the cause....the fan barely turns, 2k RPMs if lucky, I'm having an over heating issue, and i think the PSU might be the root cause, not pulling enough air from the case=no positive air flow.

Other Thoughts: For the price i should not have expected it to work very well.
Also, UPS damaged the shipping box and dented the PSU housing, perhaps a cause of the problems; but shame on you newegg for not packing better, nothing but brown paper, no bubble wrap in sight.
