3 out of 5 eggsnever written a bad review

Pros: can't really call it doing what it should a pro

Cons: no complaints about the psu itself. it's doing what it should.
my issue is the rebate company coolmax uses is ridiculous! it was the most blatant "we're trying to make this difficult" rebate I've ever filed for. They all make stupid rules to keep from having to pay but coolmax needs to get rid of these guys. I may never buy another coolmax case or psu until I know I won't have to jump through so many moronic hoops for $20

5 out of 5 eggsBest Ever

Pros: Bought this Power Supply 11/19/2011 for a new system build.. This thing has been Rock Solid every since. It was bought for a Mid Range Gaming system that has been threw the torture test..

Cons: Not a dang thing.

Other Thoughts: Just wish I would of bought 3-4 of them, I have gone threw more expensive power supplies on other systems that haven't lasted as long as this one has..

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs a GTX 560Ti and a Phenom II x4 945 flawlessly.

Cons: First one had an audible whine and died after about 6 months. Pretty easy RMA though. New one works like a champ.

3 out of 5 eggsBad Performance

Pros: Works great Powered my powerhouse Core i7 1366 Socket 950 rig fine. Until I started playing a game and using my computer heavily.

Cons: Horrible on high load. PSU got very hot to touch in the back and started sputtering whine noises. Felt like I was reaching my power limit but I thought this was a 650 Watt PSU should of been enough. Was wrong, maybe it isn't. For a low- mid grade system this would of been fine. Forget high performance out of this PSU.

Other Thoughts: Bought a Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 RS720 instead. Hopefully it'll handle the powerhouse of Overclocked Core i7 CPUs.

1 out of 5 eggsDied in under a week

Pros: It has really nice cabling and connectors along with a good price.

Cons: I was sitting at my desk and heard a loud "bang" combined with my computer turning off and smoke. I think a capacitor blew.

Other Thoughts: I was really happy with this supply when I installed it. I was less happy when it died a week later.

2 out of 5 eggsits ok

Pros: Decent price. Details and overview painted a pretty picture

Cons: You get what you pay for. I expected it however to atleast run ONE gpu without any hitches seeing as in the description its rated for Xfire and SLI. So who likes being lied too? I dont. Its straining under a very low load and Im pretty upset about choosing to spend less. Wont happen again especially on a "Coolmax". I dont see how lying about a product is ok.

5 out of 5 eggsBang for your buck

Pros: Simply awesome. A good gaming system will only pull ~500 watts from the wall. Mine has been pulling 500 consistently for 5 years! Also, newegg is such a great site, fast shipping and great reliability.

Cons: NONE
