1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: None

Cons: Could not hold up to the specified load. I wasn't even close to pushing 1200w and it blew up.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for. Read reviews carefully, go for a relaible brand.

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible SATA connectors

Pros: Pqwerful and seems to to be stable. Quiet. Long cables. Some fixed, some modular cables. Great price at another store. Physically well presented. Does not run very warm. 5 yr warranty.

Cons: In the past 6 months, 76% of those rating have rated yhis power supply a 1 or a 2. Not good. The plastic side of the SATA that protects the copper connecting pins on the SATA connector is too thin. This plastic is so thin, it only has one side! I have had 7 break, 6 on two modular cables (all the connections on these cables). To save this purchase, I bought a set of Corsair modular cables for about $35 including shipping from another vendor. That is the only way I can continue to use this power supply.

Other Thoughts: Pay your money, take your chances with this product. I am very gentle with connectors and still broke 7.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible, did not work when I got it

Pros: None

Cons: Did not work when I got it from shipping, $43 bucks for 1 day shipping and did not work..

Other Thoughts: I should of read feedback before I purchased, I read them 1 day later and read ALOT of back feedback, leason learned. I read all feedbacks before I purchase anything from newegg anymore.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap PSU

Pros: Plugs in and works like you would expect any PSU

Cons: Breaks down under minimal load. I'm running a single video card and do not over clock. Within 6 months my MB is shutting down complaining that the voltage from PSU is too low. I'm ordering an enermax and hoping to hell my MB is not damaged.

Other Thoughts: I figured grabbing a 1200 watt PSU when I only needed 600 would help the PSU last a long time. Big mistake. I will not buy a Coolmax product from this point on. I also am within the warrantee and could get a replacement but after reading all the reviews I dare not place any Coolmax products in my puter case.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST VALUE FOR THE MONEY

Pros: It has everything you need, nothing you don't. The regular price is a good deal, but if you can get it on a special newegg price and couple it with a rebate, it's the deal of the century!

Cons: Honestly, the only thing I thought was odd was that the power cable from the PSU to the outlet was a little short. That being said, it is rather beefy, thicker than any previous cable I've owned was.

4 out of 5 eggsWell not as good as I thought.

Pros: Great power work good for a year.

Cons: Well the +12v rail voltage is bouncing up and down after added another classified video card.

Other Thoughts: To the people that says this supply is light..you are dumbdumbsgetnogumgum. Everything you have said is heavier than this supply is not. coolmax as never been looked at as the bottom of the barrel supplies. Now I might be going back to rosewill...being I have neat them and never been left without power.

1 out of 5 eggsFAIL

Pros: None

Cons: Replacement of last 1200 watt model, still have in box afraid to even try it.

Other Thoughts: I returned PSU 3 times, it had a built in safety, like a reset for any elect. motor that would stay off and not reset itself. After getting 2 replacements, the 3rd one they must have adjusted the shut down feature as it cooked my motherboard Asus P6T Deluxe I7CPU and still not sure if video card isn't fried as well. Discontinued model so I'm sure they had many more than just me, as upset customer. I would not trust this company for a stable product period!

1 out of 5 eggsDissapointing

Pros: It was a good price.
when it worked, it worked well.

Cons: I've bee through two of these power supply in the span of about 3 months. they fall victim to cheap capacitors and components, both of which are very liable to break down under minimal stress, the power supply is very light for what it should be, and this should be a warning right there.

Other Thoughts: I suggest you ignore these fake 5* comments on this power supply, and go for a better brand, I recommend Thermaltake, Corsair, or Antec, as i've never had issues with any of these brand of power supplies over the years, yet twice in a row ive had PSU fail with Coolmax.

Again, for the short periods that both of my PSUs worked, they worked fine, but their lifespan and quality is jsut far too low to be taken seriously.

1 out of 5 eggsFried

Pros: Nothing bout this power supply is worth the money. Save your money and buy a better brand.

Cons: 1. No screws that came with it.
2. Very light for a 1200w PSU. My old 650w was heavier than this.
3. Had it plugged in and ran for the first minute than the PSU fried. I'll find out tomorrow when I plug my old PSU in to find out if it didn't fry my whole computer. Save your money buy a better brand. I took a shot on how cheap It was. And I got what I paid for.

2 out of 5 eggsCheaply Made, took a risk and lost.

Pros: Price

Cons: Lighter than a can of pop, covered in crooked "Made in China" stickers. No screws to attach to case, Slightly dented case.

Other Thoughts: Seems awfully light and cheaply made for the money. I should have researched more rather than looking at other reviews. My 750w PC Power and Cooling is 3 times as heavy.
