1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: None.

Cons: It died after only a month of normal use. DO NOT BUY THIS. I don't know if it shorted out the rest of my pc, but we will see after I pay to ship the faulty psu back and pay them again to ship me the replacement.

Other Thoughts: I beg you, anybody thinking about buying this psu, DO NOT BUY THIS. I will break very quickly and you will be left to wait 6 weeks for them to ship you a replacement that you have to pay shipping on. Just do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 to get a Corsair or Seasonic power supply.

2 out of 5 eggsSurges of Power

Pros: Good price for the Wattage

Cons: Doesnt provide a constant flow and sometimes overflows power to my motherboard (Asus Z87-A) causing the AntiSurge to kick in and shut down the Computer for safety.

Other Thoughts: This power supply may seem like a good deal but I would not recommend purchasing it for gaming rigs. It cannot provide satisfaction if all it can do is try to fry my pc.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't listen to negative reviews

Pros: Thermal compound, some of the best.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: People who say this sucks and doesn't work obviously didn't apply it right. You use the pea size method, and don't spread this stuff. Apply directly in the center and then put the fan down straight on it. Wiggle the heatsink a little - just a little - and you should be fine.

1 out of 5 eggsNo more Coolmax products for me

Pros: Provided sufficient power. Fairly quite. Worked for a little while.

Cons: Just suddenly made a popping noise and died after less than 6 months use. I require more time than that out of a piece of hardware to be a satisfied customer.

Other Thoughts: I recommend spending the extra money to get a better quality product unless you want to get what you pay for from Coolmax.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: quiet, works

Cons: -8 pin cpu power cable is too short for cable management around and behind motherboad. Will need and adapter to extend for proper routing on most cases.
- Not compleatelly modular.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing for price

Pros: Installed perfectly fine. This went into my first build computer I've ever done and I've had zero problems so far, amazing for a tight to medium budget

Cons: Nothin'!

Other Thoughts: First build ever, made a newb mistake by installing it upside down, I guess the lesson there is to read the directions...

3 out of 5 eggshmmmm

Pros: It supplies me with enough power to do what it should.

Cons: When I got this power supply there was no " warranty void if removed" sticker! Fortunately the unit operates to my standards. It also doesn't have enough connections to use SLI and the cables are slightly to short resulting in some slight tension on various components (in this individual situation a mere half inch would have resulted in a considerably better fit)

Other Thoughts: I would have rated it 2 stars except that my roommate's PSU (another of this model) worked for his build a little better- coming with that all important sticker and having more slack in his cable
