5 out of 5 eggsGreat Replacement

Pros: Nice and quiet. Compared to my old PSU I had...which is like a rocket. Going from a lot of random restarts and shut offs, to this...is heaven.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: My computer had the same PSU for years, probably around 4-5 years, and it started to get noisier and didn't function correctly. Finally decided it was time to replace it after I moved my computer and it wouldn't turn on for a while. I'm happy now =)

5 out of 5 eggsfits like a glove

Pros: its not OJ's glove. Slid right into an ACER aspire. Hooked up and ran like it should.

Cons: Low noise, I wanted to hear the jet fan all these other reviews speak of.

Other Thoughts: This power supply works just fine and runs my system well. It is not a power hog but it is nicely equipped. I wish it could help me spell.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: It works, plenty of connections.

Cons: Lots of extra wires to tie up

Other Thoughts: From what I count:
-9 "regular" connectors for CD drives, etc
-4 SATA connectors
-System Fan (4 pin type)
-24 pin Motherboard power

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Powers Core 2 Duo E6300, P5B Deluxe, 2xDVD+-RW, 2xSeagate Barracuda 7200.10RPM 320GB, an old Radeon X600, and everything runs fine. Quieter than people seem to claim. I've had louder, that's for sure.

Cons: Cables go everywhere, need min. 2 zip ties to keep them out of CPU fan and out of way of airflow.

Other Thoughts: Hope it doesn't die, I have to cover parts and labor for two years.

3 out of 5 eggsNo other problems, but died after 2 years

Pros: Lots of connectors, low fan noise, stable operation. Enough power for an Athlon 64 2800+ with 5 hard drives, two optical drives, and a low end video card.

Cons: Unit died after almost exactly 2 years of near constant operation - something internal (other than the bridge rectifier) shorted out, and after replacing the fuse, it blows again as soon as power is connected. It failed while running, as opposed to startup or standby.

Other Thoughts: This power supply is a rebranded Enhance ENH-0740GB (the model number is actually on the label). I received a unit _without_ the 115/230V switch, and with the fan grille attaching to the casing over the outside (different than pictured).

4 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Supplied me with steady power for over a year. I will continue to consider Silverstone products in every upgrade/new build that i make in the future!

Cons: about a month ago i got a low fan warning. i was having stability issues with WoW, so i replaced PSU. turned out it wasn't the issue, though if you poll this PSU you will find that it has a low fan speed, so low that it will cause alarms on some moniters.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg Rocks!

4 out of 5 eggsNot much to complain about

Pros: It provides electricity to my system.

Cons: Not exactly silent, not that I care. Lots of cables. They're not great for my airflow (it's a good thing I got a fan on the side of my case). Keep this in mind especially if you are using a smaller case.

Other Thoughts: Get some zip ties before you build a PC with this PSU--there's a lot to tie down. Check the setting on the back of the PSU to make sure it's 115 if you're in the USA.

4 out of 5 eggs

Comments: This psu performs very well where voltage rails are concerned, but it is far from 'Super Silent.' If you don't mind that it's not really quiet, around 30 dB at 1200 rpm, then I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Comments: This power supply performs admirably, but it is far from 'Super Silent.' The voltage rails are near ideal, but the 120 mm fan is clearly aubible with an oscillating whine. It is relatively quiet when compared to most power supplies, I suppose, but I'd guess the noise output is over 30 db at 1200 rpm.

5 out of 5 eggsNice PSU

Comments: Very quiet PSU. The 2 60 mm fans in my SilverStone Lascala3 case are much louder than the PSU fan.

Plenty of Connectors: 4 SATA connectors. I think 8 molex (maybe more).

One thing to note, the mobo connector is a 24 pin connector, not a ATX 20 pin connector.
