4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very durable, PSU lasted 3 years before failing and that was due to daily brown outs in southern California over those years that burnt out my outlet which lead to surging. That fried 3 rebuilds and the PSU lasted all 3 before finally frying the fan, which made the unit overheat. In other words, this baby lasts.

During the years I had the unit, she was more than enough wattage unless you were powering multiple video cards.

I never had to worry about the PSU while she lasted.

Cons: Kinda delicate to clean which leads to overheating, although once cleaned from dust, overheating is not an issue.

Other Thoughts: A way to replace the fan if the fan goes, because the unit still is fully functional, aside overheating due to dead fan. I hope this company still makes PSU this well. I will definitely be a return customer if they continue that work ethic in their products.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Active PFC, dual fans, low heat, good rails, built well; the gold is very shiny.

Cons: The voltages fluctuate in the hundredths decimal place. Also, the cables are really, really long, but there are a lot of connectors just at the end.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this power supply for the high-amp 12V rail, active PFC, and low price. It's really good.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid PSU

Pros: Consistent voltage.
Active PFC (very nice)
Quiet
Lots of outlets
Nice Gold finish; good appearance.

Cons: The only con I have found with this PSU is the ampage on the 12v rail. Im getting around 11.4
I believe the closer it is to 12 the better the psu is. If that’s the case this obviously isn’t a great psu but for the money it’s definitely the best in its price range.

Other Thoughts: Previous psu was a Powmax Demon 580watt. it lasted a year was very loud and eventually just died on me and stopped supplying a consistent voltage. This psu is better built doesn’t look like a carnival prize and has the best type of PFC (active)

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Comments: I was leary of this PSU at first. But I figured, what the hey.

First one was defective, +12v read +8v, not enough for HD to power up. So, Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, a RMA it will go.

Got the second PSU today, works fine. All rails are within acceptible limits.

3 out of 5 eggsWell, it coulda been worse

Comments: This thing worked fine for my system for a while, but In the end you get what you pay for, and it finally stopped producing enough poser for my system, but it took about a year to get there.
