5 out of 5 eggsDoes it's job

Pros: Works Great
Powers everything I need

Cons: Minor

Other Thoughts: Make sure to clean the fan inside, mine got a little clogged with dust and made a horrible squealing sound as if it was going to explode. Other than that, works fine for the price.

Pros: Worked well for a good year and a half
Simple and easy

Cons: Failed after 1.5 yrs, too short a lifespan for a PS.

1 out of 5 eggsPOORLY MADE

Pros: LOOKS GREAT AND MATCH WITH HIGHER END BLACK CASE

Cons: WE BUILD AT LEAST 100 PC A YEAR AND FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS HAVE BEEN USING THESE POWER SUPPLIES. OUR COMPUTERS FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS HAVE MANY ISSUES WITH BLUE SCREENS AND POWER SUPPLY SMOKING. ONLY RECENTLY DID WE REALIZED THAT THIS WAS THE CAUSE. HAVEN'T HAVE ONE ISSUES SINCE USING A DIFFERENT BRAND. STAY AWAY

4 out of 5 eggsNot a true 480w

Pros: I bought the PSU to power an AMD APU (a10 6800k) and a 750 ti ftw w/ acx. Did just fine

Cons: The PSU itself as well as the wires look extremely cheap. Doesn't look very pretty in your build case

Other Thoughts: I ran this PSU fine up until I decided to swap to a r9 280x in which I switched to a cx750m to feed the power hungry gpu. Probably wont ever go real cheap like that again on a PSU. The CXM is cheap too however just with the few extra bucks spent you can really see the quality difference. I have a new build currently in the works and I've already purchased a SeaSonic X-1250. I probably wont ever go cheap again on PSU's. Learned my lesson. However both the Logisys and CXM still work fine.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says

Pros: Great Price! Seems to still be working great almost 6 months later.

Cons: None (although some others that cost a little more have fancy colorful fans)

Other Thoughts: Keep up the good work Newegg!

4 out of 5 eggsIs what is is...

Pros: Bought on 6/30/2006 for a rig I built my wife. The thing is still working just fine. She doesn't use that desktop as frequently as I use mine since she uses her Laptop more but hey with that many years on it for the price I payed it's no biggy. That is sort of why I went cheaper on some of components, knowing her desktop wasn't going to be her daily driver or even close to it looking back, she used it for more for power oriented tasks. Back in O6 I built it to go with a Athlon X2 4200+ 2gb of Corsair 1gb sticks and an ATI X1600pro which I still have and it still works! Anyway, Now the power supply is in a "squatter box" I built for when friends come by, it's used 1-4 times a weeks on an FX 6350/16gb/hd7870 set up. Runs like a champ. really wasn't expecting much from this power supply it's really plain and no frills, but it works.

Cons: Hmm, well yes it is a cheap cheap PSU. I don't think I would recommend this power supply to anyone who has the money to spend on a better one, you just don't skimp out in the power supply part of your builds. The wires can be a bit messy, but it's an old design, they are a tad short unless you are running a mid tower or ITX then don't buy it. Other than that if you have to absolutely buy a cheap PSU for whatever reason this is a good choice. For $20> I don't think I would buy something else.

Other Thoughts: Just again I have to say I am in awe of how long this little dude has lasted, and really surprised at how well it still runs with my "modern" system on the weekend that I built for friends. If you are only going to spend 20 or so bucks on a PSU and are unwilling to go up to 40 or more than buy this one. Don't even look at others.

2 out of 5 eggsBought two :(

Pros: Bought two of these because they were super cheap with the sale Newegg was offering(my first mistake buying the cheap PSU) well one is working so far thank goodness but the other one keeps causing my computer to restart due to power surges :( thankfully i bought an ASUS motherboard with powersurge protection.

Cons: wont buy this product again!
