5 out of 5 eggsGood and Stable

Pros: Stable, quiet, strong.

Cons: I had to stretch the 2 SATA power's, although that was kind of my fault. Sense the case is a little larger than most.

Other Thoughts: I've used this in a few builds, and it's been working not only for me. But for them as well, even my family has been using them everyday!

2 out of 5 eggsDead after 6 months

Pros: Lightweight. Decent cable length, enough connectors and then some for a minimal build.

Cons: After about 6 months of use it started making a very high-pitched whine when powered on. The computer it was plugged into would power off at random or freeze. Swapped it out with another PSU and the issues were resolved.

Other Thoughts: Logisys has a 1-year limited warranty, but requires you to have the original packaging and documents. If you're set on this PSU make sure you hang onto those.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: Powers my computer ok. Very cheap shipped for only $17 with my 2 day shoprunner account

Cons: Very light (reads cheap) and the rated watts aren't delivered (read any review).

Other Thoughts: I built a complete system for a few pennies under $225 for my gf's mother. This is powering it fine and so far so good. I just hope it doesn't take any other components out with it when it inevitably dies

4 out of 5 eggsIt works.. but for how long?

Pros: It runs, it's cheap, it's not super loud, it has a decent amount of connectors.

Cons: It's cheap, the wires are thin. The black coating looks really cheap. Not sure how long this will last in my system but so far so good!

Other Thoughts: For the price, it's an OK temporary power supply. I'm using it in an older AM2 board with a gt 430 and it gets the job done but I can't help but wonder how long it will last.

1 out of 5 eggsAlmost worthless

Pros: Great when it works.

Cons: Percent of bad units right out of the box is unacceptable. I couldn't find a decent power supply from Newegg for a decent price. The only item that I'm disappointed in from Newegg. There are good power supplies available for around $20...but not at Newegg.

Other Thoughts: This has been very annoying when building new computers to come up with a high failure rate in new power supplies. Puts a major kink in the process.

3 out of 5 eggsIts alright

Pros: It gets the job done.

Cons: The information page states there is suppose to be 3 sata plugs on the unite, but there is only 2 on the one I received. Not very pleased about that.

Other Thoughts: None

2 out of 5 eggsDead after a few months

Pros: It's cheap, and will work fine for a non gaming rig.

Cons: I purchased this in December for a budget build gaming pc that I intended to upgrade over time. The build consisted of a high end Processor, and MOBO, but everything else was budget range. PSU worked great until I upgraded my GPU. This PSU is rated for up to 480w. The GPU I ordered called for a minimum of a 400w PSU. After about a week of gaming with the GPU suddenly one day while gaming the computer just turned off. I started messing with it, and found the area where the PSU sits to be VERY hot. I flipped the main power switch, and let it cool off. A bit later it started back up and seemed fine. Unfortunately it didn't last long. It seemed like every time I would play a game for anytime close to an hour it would overheat. Over time the range of gameplay time got shorter and shorter, and the fan starting making noise. At it's worst point the computer would run for about ten minutes before shutting itself down.

Other Thoughts: Just watch how much you are running through this thing as it won't last long. New PSU on the way...
