5 out of 5 eggsgood value

Pros: Has been working fine for almost a year.

Cons: A the fan noise is a little louder than I'd like but that keeps it cool.

Other Thoughts: Is running a 45W CPU and 2 WD 7200 rpm drives and a low power gpu. A pretty light duty load but it performs great.

1 out of 5 eggsYou might as well plug your CPU into a potato

Pros: Good heft to it

Cons: Why has this not burnt down a small orphanage yet.

Other Thoughts: Title says it all. Mine blew up in 2 weeks

3 out of 5 eggsPros and cons

Pros: It's cheep and affordable for the less serious gamers or budget builds

Cons: It lacks a PSI cable, mine tends to overheat and is a little loud

Other Thoughts: It is great if its your first build because it works well but affordable

1 out of 5 eggsLOGISYS FAILURE

Pros: Cost

Cons: First plug up and pop, a power supply failure.
Not worth putting a RMA . Cost more to send back.

Other Thoughts: Should have went with a better power supply on my new build.

3 out of 5 eggsCables are

Pros: it works. Price.

Cons: Within the cons I would list that it only have two SATA connectors, and they are two inches apart :-/ The cables are way too short for anything. Almost obsolete in any setup you may want to do nowadays.

Other Thoughts: It's a good replacement for an older system, but don't buy it if you are building a new computer.

1 out of 5 eggsIt literally blew up; within 4 days.

Pros: -When it worked, it worked.

-2 SATA Connectors.

-Easy Install.

Cons: -It blew up within 4 days.

-Lots of Molex connectors.

-480W= 200~300W.

-Loud.

Other Thoughts: When I first got it for my first budget build, I ignored all warning of buying cheap PSUs, and went straight for the cheapest on Newegg (Thinking the PSU matters the least; stupid me.) When it arrived everything was fine and dandy. I hadn't keep it on for a bit, just on and off while I was transfering files, installing OS, etc. Once I had settled down and got everything up and running, I went to play Dota 2. When I was preparing in-game settings, my mid-tower suddenly made a loud "pop" sound that shook me and even woke up my sister next to me. I immediately knew it was the power supply, no doubt about it.

Please hear me out... DO NOT go cheap on the PSU! DO NOT! I didn't listen, thinking that the horror stories of bogus brand PSUs were incredibly rare and wouldn't happen to me. Boy was I wrong. If this PSU took some of my hardware with it, I'd be extremely dissatisfied. Consider the fact I'm in my mid-teens and I can't just fork over tons of money for a super high quality PSU. Budget builders, spend AT LEAST $35 on one. Please.

1 out of 5 eggsDont buy it!!

Pros: Besides price - None

Cons: Out of two purchased, one has died within 1 1/2 months. They were not being pushed to their max in any way. Out of Neweggs warranty period. Logisys support is not there. They do not answer the phone or call back.

Other Thoughts: Bought two of these for PC's that were gifts for families that needed one. Had to buy two more PSU's from another Mfg. Just waiting for the second to go.

4 out of 5 eggsMisleading power rating?

Pros: Power supply lasted a long time under normal conditions. Was using a MSI K9N6PGM2 with a SSD, HD, DVD and low end Gforce 8400 card.

Cons: NOTE: The power supply states that its Total Power is 330W and Max is 480. If you are going to use this PS for normal use, it will be fine. Died after a few years use of playing video games.

Other Thoughts: PS is well constructed and has enough connectors for small to mid size cases. I know that there are several companies that use their max watts as their ratings. Be careful what you buy.
