5 out of 5 eggsCheap and has not yet Blown Up

Pros: This PSU is right up my alley. Dont expect to get glowing power cords or even modular ones. It comes with just about the most basic amount of wiring that it can come with, so if you have a power-hungry GPU or other another configuration that is not standard (like several hard drives) then make sure to check that it has the right number or connections for your needs.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsPS480E12

Pros: Cheap, 2 SATA connectors

Cons: Lasted 15 months, While it does have 2 SATA connectors, they are on the same wires coming out of the case and are only 6 inches apart. Your SATA devices have to be mounted next to each other or you are going to need a Molex to SATA adapter.

1 out of 5 eggsLOGISYS 480W ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: It works, it's cheap

Cons: To noisy for me to use. Single 12V rail is rated at 16 amps, a 250W power supply has that.

Other Thoughts: At $17 not worth a RMA. I kept it for a spare.

1 out of 5 eggslasted 3 days till it nearly caught fire.

Pros: shown up working as it should.

Cons: I wish this psu came as a dud rather than risking a house fire.

Other Thoughts: I am going to replace it for another one anyhow, cant get a psu at this price anywhere else.

The comp specs were:
A6 amd cpu
4 gigs of ddr3 1600
120gb ssd

thats it, it was my kids computer. there is no reason a 480watt psu should go out on those specs. The power did not surge at the time. I just cannot figure out why this happened other than a bad cap maybe.

5 out of 5 eggsgood power supply

Pros: great PS for a gaming build, (enthusiasts/fanboys would probably hate this) plenty of power for mid to mid high graphics cards. good build quality, and plenty of plugs.

Cons: wires are a tad short and unsleeved, sli/crossfire really not going to happen with this one (unless you want to do such a thing with lower end cards that don't require separate power)

Other Thoughts: with the wires being a little short, the cable management most new cases have would be useless. you would have to manage the cables with zip ties like i had to.

note: the 80 plus ratings are a measurement of efficiency, not build quality. and as such ends up driving costs up due to the misunderstanding of the general pc community.

3 out of 5 eggsFully Functional

Pros: Cheap. It functions like a PSU should. Comes with a 120mm fan.

Cons: Pretty loud. Every minute I hear a nasty noise coming from my PC.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. This thing only has 2 SATA cables. I wouldn't recommend it if you have plans for heavy gaming.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed in less than a month

Pros: Inexpensive & ball bearing fan

Cons: As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". I should have known better than to buy this cheap junk. It lasted less than a month, then failed. Will not be purchasing this brand again.

Other Thoughts: From previous experience with cheap power supplies, I should have known not to take the chance and purchase this P.S. to save a few bucks.
