1 out of 5 eggsFailed in less than a month

Pros: Inexpensive & ball bearing fan

Cons: As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". I should have known better than to buy this cheap junk. It lasted less than a month, then failed. Will not be purchasing this brand again.

Other Thoughts: From previous experience with cheap power supplies, I should have known not to take the chance and purchase this P.S. to save a few bucks.

2 out of 5 eggsOk but some quality control issues

Pros: Inexpensive
Quiet fans

Cons: Only 2 SATA power
High pitched whine

Other Thoughts: The power supply works fine in that it powers my mobo, blu ray drive, 2 case fans, and 2 harddrives. However, there are two issues:

1) It only has 2 SATA plugs. Not a huge deal since you can buy a 4-pin molex to 2-plug SATA on fleabay for literally a $1, but I would like more power connectivity

2) I've had it running for about 3 weeks (was waiting on the mobo to arrive...) and it has developed a very annoying and distracting high pitched whine. Not sure exactly what the cause it, though it sounds like a capacitor as it's being charged, except it never stops.

The PS is fine for a low cost unit, and I honestly wouldn't take away an egg for the lack of SATA plugs considering it's price and the cost of an adapter. However, if the whine that mine has is typical then the design is bad, and if it's not then there is a quality control issue. Either way, I'm kind of disappointed.

1 out of 5 eggsCompletely Unusable

Pros: The fan is silent, the case is built well, the grille is nice, and the hookup is solid.

Cons: Unfortunately, this power supply is completely unusable. The second you plug it in, even while the PC is off, it emits a high frequency noise nonstop so loud, you have to wear earplugs next to it. Without it, you get dizzy and nauseous and feel like your head is going to explode. Keep in mind, if you can't hear ultrasonic frequencies, your kids and pets probably can so just DO NOT buy this power supply.

Other Thoughts: It's a shame reliability or quality isn't a factor because of that one defect. It looked like it would have been a nice power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks good.

Pros: Wires are nice and long, reason I had to purchase when switching cases. Delivers plenty of power for everyday computing or light gaming. 120mm fan was a plus, moves alot of air. Price was definitely right, especially for Logisys!

Cons: I decided not to knock an egg off for this, simply because of how cheap the unit is.... but I would have been happier if they threw some loom on the wires. At least on the main, makes for a sloppy, stock looking install.

Other Thoughts: Powers a Phenom II quad core, 2 SATA drives, 6, 120mm fans and a 8800GT GPU with no problem. Large fan keeps unit cool plus moves air through my case. The +12v rail is strong and unless you're using a high end GPU or multiple GPU's, this is plenty.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for price, not for HTPC

Pros: Powers A4-4000 system just fine.
120mm fan moves a lot of air, probably enough so that no other exhaust fans needed.

Cons: Only 2 SATA
Fan is fairly quiet for how much air it moves, but is loud enough to make this PSU annoying in an HTPC.

Other Thoughts: Description does say its set to spin at 2k rpm, but for the price I figured to give it a try.

Too loud for an HTPC, but it will be used in another system.
