3 out of 5 eggsCheap and still working

Pros: Cost me 20 dollars. Says its 480 watt who knows these cheap power supplys usually aren't putting out what they say they are.
Needed a cheap psu to fit in my budget it works and hasnt blown up yet. powers my gtx 260, intel g3220 4 gigs of ram and one hard drive.

Cons: It gets loud when under load. Not super loud but kind of has a little whine to it. Not so loud that its a deal breaker or anything and its completely quiet when its not under loud and just browsing the web and watching videos and stuff.

Other Thoughts: Hey I needed to put together a little budget gaming build I didnt have enough to get something more expensive this cost me 20 bucks and works cant really complain.

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: Does what it was supposed to do.
it shut my in-laws up, as their old PSU's fan was squawking, and I really didn't want to take the time to fix the fan.
cheep fix.

Cons: They are still my in-laws

1 out of 5 eggsDied shortly after I got it

Pros: ...None

Cons: Got this 3 years ago, forgot I had it because it died almost instantly, wasn't worth the shipping cost to replace it.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quite for a while

Cons: Rear fan started buzzing after a while but would quit after a few minutes. Lasted a few months then shot sparks out the back

3 out of 5 eggsSuper Short Cables

Pros: Inexpensive, particularly with the Combo Deal in which my unit was purchased.

Cons: Short cable length, only 4 pin ATX CPU power cable, and only 2 SATA power cables.

Other Thoughts: With a small case that features a top-mounted PSU, the cables would be adequate. Bottom mounting requires extensions of nearly all the cables.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy it, not worth it. WIRES AREN'T LONG ENOUGH

Pros: I can't think of any.

Cons: *The wires are NOT long enough. The 20 or 24 pin connector can BARELY get in a mid tower (Same size as Corsair 300r)

*The wires are NOT braided. - My standards are too high for this deuce.

*Didn't come with nuts.

*LOGISYS

Other Thoughts: I got it in a bundle. The whole point in getting it in a bundle was to save time and money, guess not. Now I have to buy another PSU and wait. Unbelievable. This build is for my dad.

1 out of 5 eggs330W rating - Noisy

Pros: Inexpensive.
Not heavy.

Cons: I am very unhappy with the purchase:
a) The power rating is continuous 330W - max 480W
b) The fans are noisy. I halved the noise by connecting the ground of the fan wires to bring down the voltage to 7V
c) The cables are short. I also found out that the cables are not tin plated, so they will corrode in a couple years.

Other Thoughts: Standards. More standards would make products better. Power ratings, unlike pharmaceuticals, are not put any test.
Newegg should not stock this product due to the poor quality.

4 out of 5 eggscheap and works

Pros: works, cheap

Cons: short p4 connector

Other Thoughts: perfect for a budget pc, only issue is the p4 connector is a little short for some boards, but after rerouting the wire it works
