Cooler Master's Real Power Pro RS-750-ACAA-A1 PSU is designed with the power user in mind. This 80 Plus certified unit has a rated continuous output capacity of 750W with a max peak output of 900W. Not only is it a SLI certified unit, it is also compliant with ATX 12V v2.3 and EPS 12V v2.91.

The 24-pin motherboard connector is backed up by both a 4-pin and an 8-pin CPU connector. There are 5 Molex and 6 SATA connectors for drives and other peripherals. The PCIe connectors (two 6-pin and two 8-pin) have bead core protection to minimize EMI and electrical noise. A floppy drive connector is included, just in case you need one. The 4 +12V rails are rated at 19A each for plenty of discrete power.

Keeping everything cools is a 120mm fan with an automatic speed control. The back panel is a honeycomb mesh for unrestricted air flow. The combination results in a low noise rating of only 17dBA.

2 out of 5 eggswent boom

Pros: nice and quiet, plenty of power, ran 24/7

Cons: Made a large pop sound the other day after about two years of ownership and everything went dark. I thought it might have just blown a fuse so I opened the casing and replaced the 15A 250V fuse but it is still a no go.

Other Thoughts: Guess I should have just sent it in on the warranty instead of trying to change the fuse.

I guess I'll give it one egg for each year of service.

Already bought a new coolermaster v700 to replace it. Hopefully that one will last longer.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear valued customer,
I'm very sorry for the troubles. If you ever have any issues with your Cooler Master products, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately through tickets or Live Chat so that we can assist you!

5 out of 5 eggsStill solid and stable as ever

Pros: I actually invested in this great power supply in October 2009 with SLI in mind. I wanted something for a future build that was big enough to support 2 GPU's, so I took a chance and went with this PSU. The first build I used it on was a Conroe core 2 duo. Never had any problems. Now i'm using it in a recent ivy bridge build with SLI 660's and a sound card in a PCI slot. Everything has been awesome so far and i've been able to give my CPU a nice OC with stable power to support it.

Cons: None of this matters since the PSU is D/C.

Not modular. The 6 pin motherboard power wire just barely reaches the connector; but enough to fit on bottom mounted mid tower cases if you route the wire behind the motherboard tray. Extensions are a must for bigger, full sized cases; unless you're mounting it above your motherboard.

I've noticed alot of coil whine lately, especially after adding the 2nd GTX660. I honestly can't hear it over one of my 2300RPM 120mm fans so it's not a big deal as long as my system is stable.

Other Thoughts: I'm looking to upgrade to something bigger and modular and more efficient for my explorations into water cooling. This will go back in the Conroe system where I hope to see it exceed it's 5 year warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: This PSU I bought back in 2008, here it is 2013 and it is still going strong! I blow it out with my air compressor every 3 to 4 months to make sure its clean and dust free. No problems what so ever. I have enjoyed cooler master products!

Cons: It would be nice to be able to remove excess power wires that are not in use or a better way to eliminate them for a cleaner appearance.

5 out of 5 eggsLast Long

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: This thing is great, pumps in the power, is completely silent, cables are good length. No Idea why Newegg would deactivate these things, I love mine.

Cons: The cables appear to be oriented so that it is meant to be mounted either fan up on the bottom or fan down on the top. Mine is pointed fan down on the bottom, and as a result, the sata power cables are upside down, and have to be twisted like crazy to achieve the proper orientation. Still, it's plenty workable.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Power Supply

Pros: Plenty of connectors , quiet , so far very dependable. Runs my GTX 295 powered gaming rig with no problems and that includes 3 hard drives , 4 2gig sticks of memory , Creative audigy card and breakout box , 2 cold cathode tubes , 3 LED 120mm fans , 1 80mm fan , DVD burner , floppy/usb card reader and water cooling pump.

Cons: Was out of stock on Newegg back when I purchased in 08'.

Other Thoughts: One of the very few items I did not purchase from Newegg ( out of stock ). Have owned for a year now and it has powered an MSI 8800gt , Evga GTX260 core 216FTW , and now my Evga GTX295 ( step up program ). Was very relived to find that it had plenty of power to run it with no problems.Newegg customer 7 years now and never a problem that could not be resolved by their great staff.

5 out of 5 eggsONE Year + still ticking

Pros: Works well all connectors and power you'll need even for the latest system builds. 900W maximum output at full load.

Cons: none other than the price is high, but you get what you pay for

Other Thoughts: if you want a simular PSU but dont want to spend the dough logisys has a green PSU 650W / 750W max works well, I've had no problems with it as well. Although, Coolermaster has top notch products I recomend to all. I will use CoolerMaster for all highend builds (good stuff).

5 out of 5 eggsVery very Very Very NICE Power Supply!

Pros: Very silent , if you need a silent system.
Recommended by NVIDIA in their list for 8 pin 6 pin connectors for their High end graphics cards.
The cables have all the connectors that one might need and then some more.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This power supply is very small in size relative to its wattage & does not take a lot of space in your case. But don't be fooled by its small size, this thing is a "beast".

5 out of 5 eggsCoolerMASTER

Pros: Incredible PSU, Smaller than most psu's of this calibre, very efficient, crammed it into an HTPC and it just kept on going where 2 more expensive psu's fried themselves

Cons: none
